A number of residents of Al-Hawiya (northern Taif Governorate) have questioned the reason for the closure of Al-Sanabel Park, one of the most famous public parks. They told "Okaz": The park is considered one of the largest public recreational areas north of Taif and is located near the Al-Sail Municipality building. It attracts a large number of citizens and residents accompanied by their families due to its beautiful design, abundance of green spaces, and the presence of many playgrounds for children, in addition to family seating areas and a prayer room. They pointed out that the park was closed some time ago without any explanation for the closure, especially since it is one of the modern and distinctive projects implemented by the Taif Municipality in recent years.

Both Naif Al-Otaibi, Abdul Malik Al-Taifi, Abdullah Mohammed Al-Otaibi, Nasser Al-Sufyani, and Ahmed Al-Zahrani demanded the swift reopening of the park, especially since everyone is approaching the summer vacation this year, which usually sees a significant increase in outdoor activities and breaking the routine. They noted that the park used to witness a large influx of citizens and residents throughout the week, with increased density during the weekend.
