أعرب الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية جاسم محمد البديوي عن بالغ الإدانة والاستنكار لاستمرار الهجمات العدوانية التي يشنها المستوطنون الإسرائيليون، تحت غطاء من قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلية، ضد أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني الأعزل، وآخرها الاعتداءات الآثمة التي طالت قرية كفر مالك شرقي رام الله.
وأكد أن هذه الانتهاكات المتكررة تمثل تصعيداً خطيراً وخرقاً فاضحاً للقوانين الدولية والإنسانية، وتندرج ضمن سياسة ممنهجة تهدف إلى تقويض حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني المشروعة، وفرض الأمر الواقع بالقوة.
وجدد الأمين العام لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية دعوته للمجتمع الدولي، لاسيما مجلس الأمن، بتحمل مسؤولياته القانونية والإنسانية، والتحرك العاجل لوضع حد لهذه الانتهاكات، وتوفير الحماية الدولية اللازمة للشعب الفلسطيني، ودعم جميع الجهود الرامية لتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل، وفقاً لقرارات الشرعية الدولية ومبادرة السلام العربية.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the ongoing aggressive attacks carried out by Israeli settlers, under the cover of Israeli occupation forces, against the unarmed Palestinian people, the latest of which were the heinous assaults on the village of Kafr Malik east of Ramallah.
He affirmed that these repeated violations represent a serious escalation and a blatant breach of international and humanitarian laws, and fall within a systematic policy aimed at undermining the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and imposing a fait accompli by force.
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council renewed his call to the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities, and to take urgent action to put an end to these violations, provide the necessary international protection for the Palestinian people, and support all efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive peace, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
