برعاية أمير جازان دشّن نائب أمير المنطقة الأمير ناصر بن محمد بن عبدالله بن جلوي اليوم، أعمال المؤتمر العلمي الثاني لمستجدات الوقاية والعلاج من إدمان المخدرات، الذي تنظمه جمعية التوعية بأضرار المخدرات بالمنطقة تحت شعار «معاً نحو الوقاية والعلاج».
وتجول نائب أمير جازان في المعرض المصاحب للمؤتمر، واطلع على ما يحويه من أركان توعوية وتعريفية بجهود الجهات المشاركة في المعرض، البالغ عددها 22 جهة حكومية وخاصة وقطاع غير ربحي في مجال التعريف بمخاطر المخدرات وطرق مكافحتها والوقاية منها.
بعد ذلك أعلن نائب أمير جازان بدء أعمال المؤتمر الذي يضم (17) جلسة علمية، و(6) ورش عمل تخصصية، بمشاركة نخبة من المختصين في علاج الإدمان والتعافي والعلاج النفسي والاجتماعي ومرشدي التعافي ومقدمي الرعاية الصحية من كوادر طبية وتمريضية وتأهيلية.
وأوضح رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية التوعية بأضرار المخدرات بجازان الدكتور سطام بن أحمد جده أن المؤتمر الذي يقام للمرة الثانية على التوالي على مستوى منطقة جازان، سيناقش أبرز وأحدث المستجدات العلمية الحديثة في مجالات الوقاية والعلاج والتأهيل والصحة النفسية، والجانب الشرعي والقانوني، إضافة إلى دور الأسرة والمجتمع والابتكار البحثي بمشاركة 25 متحدثاً من المختصين والخبراء من مختلف مناطق المملكة، بهدف تعزيز المعرفة وتبادل التجارب وتطوير المهارات في مواجهة آفة المخدرات.
وبين أن الجمعية نفذت خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية العديد من المشاريع والبرامج النوعية، شملت «مشروع سفراء واعي»، الذي استفاد منه (240) سفيراً عبر (6) دورات تدريبية، و«مشروع تمكين» لتأهيل المتعافين لسوق العمل، وبلغ عدد المستفيدين منه (179) مستفيداً، و«مشروع مملكتي» الذي نظم (518) فعالية توعوية، وتوقيع (38) مذكرة تفاهم، إضافة لتنفيذ «مشروع بصير» للاستشارات وعلاج المدمنين، الذي بلغ المستفيدون منه (722) مستفيداً، و«مشروع التطوع» الذي نفذ أكثر من (2700) فرصة تطوعية بمشاركة (13,562) متطوعًا ومتطوعة.
وأكد حرص الجمعية على استهداف جميع الفئات ذات العلاقة بمجال الوقاية والإدمان من خلال المؤتمر المعتمد من هيئة التخصصات الصحية بعدد 18 ساعة تدريبية للحضور والمشاركين، إلى جانب الجهود الحكومية الهادفة إلى حماية الإنسان وصون مقدرات الوطن، وصولاً إلى مجتمع واعٍ وآمن وصحي، ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في بناء مجتمع حيوي ينعم أفراده بأعلى مستويات الرفاه والتنمية المستدامة.
وفي ختام الحفل، كرم نائب أمير منطقة جازان عدداً من المشاركين والجهات الراعية للمؤتمر.
عقب ذلك، بدأت جلسات المؤتمر في يومه الأول بعدد من الجلسات وورش العمل.
Under the patronage of the Emir of Jazan, the Deputy Emir of the region, Prince Nasir bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Jiluwi, today inaugurated the second scientific conference on the latest developments in the prevention and treatment of drug addiction, organized by the Drug Awareness Association in the region under the slogan "Together Towards Prevention and Treatment".
The Deputy Emir of Jazan toured the accompanying exhibition of the conference and reviewed its informative and educational sections about the efforts of the participating entities in the exhibition, which includes 22 governmental, private, and non-profit organizations in the field of raising awareness about the dangers of drugs and methods of combating and preventing them.
After that, the Deputy Emir of Jazan announced the commencement of the conference, which includes (17) scientific sessions and (6) specialized workshops, with the participation of a selection of specialists in addiction treatment, recovery, psychological and social therapy, recovery guides, and healthcare providers from medical, nursing, and rehabilitation staff.
Dr. Sattam bin Ahmad Jadda, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drug Awareness Association in Jazan, explained that the conference, held for the second consecutive time at the level of the Jazan region, will discuss the most prominent and latest scientific developments in the fields of prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and mental health, as well as the legal and religious aspects, in addition to the role of the family and community and research innovation, with the participation of 25 speakers from specialists and experts from various regions of the Kingdom, aiming to enhance knowledge, exchange experiences, and develop skills in combating the scourge of drugs.
He indicated that the association has implemented many qualitative projects and programs over the past three years, including the "Aware Ambassadors Project," which benefited (240) ambassadors through (6) training courses, and the "Empowerment Project" to rehabilitate recovering individuals for the labor market, which had (179) beneficiaries. Additionally, the "My Kingdom Project" organized (518) awareness activities and signed (38) memorandums of understanding, along with the implementation of the "Basir Project" for consultations and treatment of addicts, which had (722) beneficiaries, and the "Volunteering Project," which provided more than (2700) volunteer opportunities with the participation of (13,562) volunteers.
He emphasized the association's commitment to targeting all relevant groups in the field of prevention and addiction through the conference, which is accredited by the Health Specialties Authority with 18 training hours for attendees and participants, alongside government efforts aimed at protecting individuals and preserving the nation's resources, leading to a conscious, safe, and healthy community that aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in building a vibrant society where its individuals enjoy the highest levels of welfare and sustainable development.
At the end of the ceremony, the Deputy Emir of the Jazan region honored several participants and sponsoring entities of the conference.
Following that, the conference sessions began on its first day with a number of sessions and workshops.
