أعربت دول مجلس التعاون عن إدانتها واستنكارها للاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على أراضي الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، وذلك خلال كلمة مندوب دولة الكويت الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية الأخرى -دولة الرئاسة الحالية- السفير ناصر الهين، نيابةً عن دول مجلس التعاون، أمس، في بدء أعمال الدورة الـ59 لمجلس حقوق الإنسان في مدينة جنيف.
وأكد السفير الهين، أن الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية تمثل انتهاكًا صارخًا للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة والأعراف الدولية، مُجددًا إدانة دول المجلس لاستمرار إسرائيل في عدوانها الغاشم على الشعب الفلسطيني.
وأشار السفير الهين، إلى أن دول مجلس التعاون، تشدد على أولوية الحل السلمي للنزاعات وتعزيز الحوار والتفاهم بوصفها من المقومات الأساسية لحماية حقوق الإنسان، كما تعبّر عن دعمها الكامل لجهود التهدئة وخفض التصعيد، والتزامها المستمر بتيسير الحوار عبر المساعي الحميدة وتهيئة الظروف المواتية للتسويات السلمية، انطلاقًا من حرصها على تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار على الصعيدين الإقليمي والدولي.
واختتم السفير الهين، كلمته، بالتأكيد أن دول مجلس التعاون ترى أن حماية حقوق الإنسان تتطلب بيئة دولية مستقرة تقوم على احترام السيادة، وتغليب الحوار، والتمسك بالمقاربات متعددة الأطراف بما يسهم في منع النزاعات وتعزيز التنمية.
The Gulf Cooperation Council countries expressed their condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli attacks on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during a speech by the Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations and other international organizations - the current presidency - Ambassador Nasser Al-Hein, on behalf of the GCC countries, yesterday, at the opening of the 59th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Ambassador Al-Hein affirmed that the Israeli attacks represent a blatant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and international norms, reiterating the Council's condemnation of Israel's continued brutal aggression against the Palestinian people.
Ambassador Al-Hein pointed out that the Gulf Cooperation Council countries emphasize the priority of a peaceful resolution to conflicts and the promotion of dialogue and understanding as fundamental components for protecting human rights. They also express their full support for efforts to de-escalate tensions and their ongoing commitment to facilitating dialogue through good offices and creating favorable conditions for peaceful settlements, stemming from their keenness to enhance security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
Ambassador Al-Hein concluded his speech by affirming that the Gulf Cooperation Council countries believe that protecting human rights requires a stable international environment based on respect for sovereignty, prioritizing dialogue, and adhering to multilateral approaches that contribute to preventing conflicts and promoting development.
