في خطوة إستراتيجية تعزز حضور المملكة في صناعة الطيران العالمية، أعلنت شركة «طيران الرياض» عن توقيع طلبية لشراء 25 طائرة من طراز A350-1000، خلال مشاركتها في معرض باريس الجوي «لو بورجيه 2025»، مع إمكانية التوسّع لتشمل 25 طائرة إضافية، ليصل إجمالي الصفقة المحتملة إلى 50 طائرة.
ووفقاً لبيان شركة «إيرباص» المصنّعة للطائرات، ستصبح «طيران الرياض» أول ناقل جوي سعودي يُشغّل هذا الطراز المتطور، ما يعكس التزام المملكة بتحديث أسطولها الجوي وتعزيز تنافسيتها على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي.
وتأتي هذه الصفقة في اليوم الأول من المعرض الذي انطلقت فعالياته في العاصمة الفرنسية من 16 حتى 22 يونيو، رغم الأجواء الجيوسياسية المضطربة التي تشمل استمرار الحرب بين إيران وإسرائيل، وحادثة تحطم الطائرة الهندية أخيراً.
وشهد افتتاح المعرض زخماً كبيراً على صعيد الابتكارات الدفاعية والتقنيات الجوية الحديثة، حيث كشفت شركة «داسو» الفرنسية عن طائرتها القتالية الجديدة دون طيار، الشقيقة الصغرى للمقاتلة "رافال F5"، لتكون جزءاً من ثنائي هجومي جديد في مستقبل الحروب الجوية.
من جهتها، شاركت المملكة العربية السعودية بوفد رفيع المستوى برئاسة وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية المهندس صالح بن ناصر الجاسر، وكذلك رئيس الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله الدعيلج، إلى جانب قيادات الهيئة، وعدد من الرؤساء التنفيذيين والخبراء في قطاع الطيران.
كما يسجّل المركز الوطني للتنمية الصناعية حضوره في المعرض، بالشراكة مع وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية وهيئة المحتوى المحلي و«مدن»، ضمن جناح خاص يسلّط الضوء على فرص الاستثمار والتصنيع في قطاع الطيران، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 نحو توطين التكنولوجيا وتحقيق اقتصاد متنوع ومستدام.
وتؤكد هذه المشاركة السعودية المتقدمة حرص المملكة على بناء شراكات دولية نوعية، وتثبيت مكانتها كمركز إقليمي ودولي رائد في صناعة الطيران المدني.
In a strategic move that enhances the Kingdom's presence in the global aviation industry, Riyadh Air announced the signing of an order to purchase 25 aircraft of the model A350-1000 during its participation in the Paris Air Show "Le Bourget 2025," with the possibility of expanding to include 25 additional aircraft, bringing the total potential deal to 50 aircraft.
According to a statement from Airbus, the aircraft manufacturer, Riyadh Air will become the first Saudi carrier to operate this advanced model, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to modernizing its air fleet and enhancing its competitiveness at the regional and international levels.
This deal comes on the first day of the exhibition, which runs in the French capital from June 16 to 22, despite the turbulent geopolitical atmosphere, including the ongoing war between Iran and Israel, and the recent crash of an Indian aircraft.
The opening of the exhibition witnessed significant momentum in terms of defense innovations and modern aviation technologies, as the French company Dassault unveiled its new combat drone, the younger sibling of the "Rafale F5," to be part of a new offensive duo in the future of aerial warfare.
For its part, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated with a high-level delegation headed by the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, as well as the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, along with leaders of the authority, several CEOs, and experts in the aviation sector.
The National Industrial Development Center also marked its presence at the exhibition, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Local Content Authority and "Madinah," within a special pavilion that highlights investment and manufacturing opportunities in the aviation sector, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 towards localizing technology and achieving a diverse and sustainable economy.
This advanced Saudi participation underscores the Kingdom's commitment to building quality international partnerships and solidifying its position as a leading regional and international hub in the civil aviation industry.
