أعلن المركز الوطني للأرصاد أن إجمالي البيانات والنشرات الأرصادية المدخلة والمرسلة لخدمة الملاحة الجوية، عبر مركز جدة الإقليمي للاتصالات الأرصادية التابع له، بلغ أكثر من 59 ألف رسالة ومعلومة أرصادية خلال موسم حج هذا العام، وذلك في إطار دعمه المستمر لتأمين سلامة الأجواء، وتزويد الجهات المختصة ببيانات دقيقة في الوقت المناسب.
ويأتي هذا الإنجاز ضمن الأعمال التي نفذها المركز التي شملت تقديم 39 ألف رسالة ونشرة أرصادية خلال موسم حج 1446هـ، دعماً للجهات المعنية في تنظيم الحشود وخدمة ضيوف الرحمن، وسعياً لتحقيق موسم حج استثنائي ببيئة مناخية آمنة ومطمئنة.
وأوضح المركز أن جهوده في هذا الموسم شملت تنفيذ ثلاث دراسات بحثية ميدانية متخصصة، شارك فيها أكثر من 25 باحثاً ومختصاً؛ بهدف رصد التغيرات المناخية الدقيقة، وتطوير تقنيات التنبؤ، وقياس تأثير العوامل الجوية في البيئة والصحة العامة في مناطق الحج، إضافة إلى تطبيق الذكاء الاصطناعي لتحسين دقة مخرجات النماذج العددية.
وأكد أن هذه الجهود تأتي ضمن خطة تشغيلية متكاملة واستعداد مبكر، بالتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية، ما عزز من جاهزية الجهات ورفع الوعي الوقائي لدى الحجاج، عبر برامج إعلامية وتوعوية ميدانية، نُفذت في ساحات المسجد الحرام والمشاعر المقدسة ومحطات قطار الحرمين، بدعم من شركاء المركز في القطاعات الخدمية المختلفة.
وبين المركز أنه سيواصل أداء دوره في دعم السلامة العامة، وفق أعلى معايير الجودة والتكامل، بما يحقق تطلعات القيادة الرشيدة في خدمة ضيوف الرحمن، ويسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
The National Center of Meteorology announced that the total data and meteorological bulletins entered and sent for air navigation services, through its Jeddah Regional Meteorological Communications Center, exceeded 59,000 messages and meteorological information during this year's Hajj season. This is part of its continuous support to ensure the safety of the skies and provide the relevant authorities with accurate data in a timely manner.
This achievement is part of the work carried out by the center, which included providing 39,000 messages and meteorological bulletins during the Hajj season of 1446 AH, in support of the relevant authorities in crowd management and serving the guests of Allah, striving to achieve an exceptional Hajj season in a safe and reassuring climatic environment.
The center clarified that its efforts this season included conducting three specialized field research studies, involving more than 25 researchers and specialists, aimed at monitoring precise climate changes, developing forecasting techniques, and measuring the impact of weather factors on the environment and public health in the Hajj areas, in addition to applying artificial intelligence to improve the accuracy of numerical model outputs.
The center confirmed that these efforts are part of a comprehensive operational plan and early preparedness, in coordination with the relevant authorities, which enhanced the readiness of the entities and raised preventive awareness among the pilgrims, through media and awareness programs implemented in the courtyards of the Grand Mosque, the holy sites, and the Haramain Train stations, supported by the center's partners in various service sectors.
The center indicated that it will continue to fulfill its role in supporting public safety, according to the highest standards of quality and integration, in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership in serving the guests of Allah, and contributing to achieving the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
