عبدالعزيز بن سعود يتفقد عدداً من المشاريع التطويرية في المشاعر المقدسة

The Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, today inspected a number of developmental projects in the holy sites.

During a tour, he reviewed several new developmental projects implemented this year to serve the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, including the Mashair Path (Phase Two), which features pedestrian pathways supported by environmentally friendly rubber flooring aimed at facilitating pedestrian movement and improving its management, in addition to mitigating the effects of heat stress.

He also visited the Namira Mosque, where he observed the shading and cooling project for the areas surrounding the mosque, which aims to moderate the climate to alleviate the effects of heat stress, enabling pilgrims to perform their prayers comfortably and easily.

During the tour, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud inaugurated the new emergency hospital in Mina, which contributes to enhancing medical readiness to serve the guests of God according to the highest medical standards, in addition to increasing the capacity for emergency cases and providing urgent medical care efficiently.

The Minister of Interior had previously viewed a visual presentation about the new developmental projects implemented by the "Kadanah" company during this year's Hajj season, which included 25 developmental projects.

Accompanying Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud during the visit were the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, the Acting Deputy Minister of Interior, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hoqail, the Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajel, the Minister of Media, Salman bin Yusuf Al-Dosari, the Assistant Minister of Interior, Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Battal, the Director of Public Security, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Basami, the Advisor to the Head of State Security, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Thuqafi, the Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Hamoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj, the Deputy Head of State Security for Security Operations, Major General Mohammed bin Obaid Al-Asimi, the CEO of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rashid, the CEO of the Guests of God Service Program, Engineer Mohammed Ismail, the CEO of "Kadanah" company, Engineer Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Majmaj, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Khalid bin Hamad Al-Saykhan.
