وزير الدفاع ونظيره البريطاني يستعرضان التعاون العسكري والدفاعي

The British Defense Minister, John Healey, received the Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, today at the British Ministry of Defense headquarters in London.

The Defense Minister and the British Defense Minister held an extensive meeting during which they reviewed the close historical relations between the two friendly countries, the strategic cooperation in the military and defense fields, and opportunities to develop it in a way that achieves mutual interests, in addition to discussing regional and international developments and topics of common interest and the efforts being made towards them.

Attending the meeting were the advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Bayari, the Minister of Defense's advisor for intelligence affairs, Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, the CEO of the Saudi-British Defense Cooperation Program and head of the Salam Project, Major General Pilot Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Qudairi, the military attaché at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in London and Dublin, Major General Pilot Riyad bin Mohammed Abu Abah, and several officials.

From the British side, the meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Defense, Lord Vernon Coaker, the Chief of Defense Staff, General Sir Tony Radakin, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sir Richard Knighton, the Chief of the Army Staff, General Sir Roland Walker, the British Ambassador to the Kingdom, Neil Crompton, the special advisor to the Minister of Defense, Georgina Smith, the military attaché at the British Embassy in the Kingdom, Brigadier Ben Wilde, and several officials.
