أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية بأشد العبارات اقتحام مسؤولين ومستوطنين إسرائيليين باحات المسجد الأقصى الشريف بحمايةٍ من قوات الاحتلال، مجددة استنكارها مواصلة الانتهاكات السافرة للقانون الدولي واستمرار الاعتداءات الغاشمة والمتكررة على حرمة المسجد الأقصى.
وأكدت المملكة رفضها القاطع لكل ما من شأنه المساس بالوضع التاريخي والقانوني للقدس ومقدساتها، مطالبةً المجتمع الدولي بمحاسبة سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلية على انتهاكاتها الخطيرة والمستمرة بحق المقدسات الإسلامية والمدنيين الأبرياء في دولة فلسطين.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strong condemnation of the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards by Israeli officials and settlers, under the protection of occupation forces. It reiterated its denunciation of the ongoing blatant violations of international law and the continued brutal and repeated assaults on the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Kingdom affirmed its firm rejection of anything that would undermine the historical and legal status of Jerusalem and its holy sites, calling on the international community to hold the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for their serious and ongoing violations against Islamic sanctities and innocent civilians in the State of Palestine.
