فرضت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء غرامة 112 ألف ريال على مستودع للأدوية مخالف في مدينة الرياض، وإحالة القضية إلى النيابة العامة بعد ضبط عددٍ من المخالفات الجسيمة المرتكبة من المنشأة، التي تُعد انتهاكاً صريحاً لأحكام نظام المستحضرات الصيدلانية والعشبية.
وأوضحت الهيئة، أن المستودع ارتكب مخالفات تمثّلت في حيازة كمية من المستحضرات تم الحصول عليها من جهة غير مرخصة، ما يُعد مخالفة للأنظمة المنظمة لتداول المستحضرات الصيدلانية. كما تبيّن أن المنشأة نقلت مستحضرات صيدلانية باستخدام وسيلة نقل غير مستوفية للاشتراطات المعتمدة لنقل هذا النوع من المنتجات؛ ما قد يؤدي إلى تعريضها لعوامل قد تؤثر على فعاليتها أو سلامتها.
وأكدت الهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء، حرصها المستمر على متابعة التزام المنشآت الخاضعة لإشرافها بجميع الأنظمة واللوائح المنظمة لسلامة وجودة المنتجات الدوائية، مشددة على أنها تتعامل مع هذه المخالفات بكل حزم، ولن تتهاون في اتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية الرادعة لضمان حماية المستهلكين والحفاظ على الصحة العامة.

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority imposed a fine of 112,000 riyals on a violating drug warehouse in Riyadh and referred the case to the Public Prosecution after detecting several serious violations committed by the establishment, which constitute a blatant violation of the provisions of the pharmaceutical and herbal products regulations.
The Authority clarified that the warehouse committed violations that included possessing a quantity of products obtained from an unlicensed source, which is a violation of the regulations governing the circulation of pharmaceutical products. It was also found that the establishment transported pharmaceutical products using a means of transport that did not meet the approved requirements for transporting this type of product; this could expose them to factors that may affect their efficacy or safety.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority confirmed its continuous commitment to monitoring the compliance of the establishments under its supervision with all the regulations and laws governing the safety and quality of pharmaceutical products, emphasizing that it deals with these violations firmly and will not hesitate to take strict legal measures to ensure the protection of consumers and maintain public health.
