سيّر مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية أمس في مدينة الرياض الدفعة السابعة عشرة من الجسر البري الإغاثي السعودي لمساعدة الشعب السوري الشقيق، التي ستسلّم إلى وزارة الصحة في الجمهورية العربية السورية الشقيقة.
وأوضح مساعد المشرف العام على المركز للشؤون المالية والإدارية الدكتور صلاح بن فهد المزروع أن المساعدات تشتمل على مجموعة من الأجهزة والمستلزمات الطبية والمعدات اللوجستية، منها: 10 سيارات إسعاف حديثة مجهزة، و30 مولداً للكهرباء، وقطع غيار متنوعة، وعدد من المعدات والآليات الثقيلة، وأجهزة ومستلزمات طبية متنوعة.
وأشار الدكتور المزروع إلى أن المساعدات المقدمة من المركز للشعب السوري بلغت منذ مطلع هذا العام 16 طائرة ضمن الجسر الجوي الإغاثي السعودي، و625 شاحنة ضمن الجسر الإغاثي البري السعودي محملّة بالمواد الغذائية والإيوائية والطبية تزن أكثر من 10 آلاف طن، فضلاً عن إجراء 1261 عملية جراحية ضمن برنامج أمل التطوعي السعودي للأشقاء في سورية، الذي يستهدف تنفيذ 104 حملات طبية وجراحية، وتقديم برامج تدريبية وتعليمية ومبادرات تمكين اقتصادي، بمشاركة 3000 متطوعٍ ومتطوعة.
وتعد هذه المساعدات امتداداً للدعم المتواصل المقدم من المملكة إلى الأشقاء في سورية، وتأكيداً للدور الذي تضطلع به المملكة في مد يد العون للدول الشقيقة والصديقة خلال مختلف الأزمات والمحن.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center yesterday in Riyadh launched the seventeenth batch of the Saudi land bridge relief operation to assist the brotherly Syrian people, which will be delivered to the Ministry of Health in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Assistant Supervisor General of the Center for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Salah bin Fahd Al-Mazrou, explained that the aid includes a range of medical devices, supplies, and logistical equipment, including: 10 modern equipped ambulances, 30 electricity generators, various spare parts, a number of heavy equipment and machinery, as well as various medical devices and supplies.
Dr. Al-Mazrou pointed out that the assistance provided by the Center to the Syrian people has reached 16 planes since the beginning of this year as part of the Saudi air relief bridge, and 625 trucks as part of the Saudi land relief bridge loaded with food, shelter, and medical supplies weighing more than 10,000 tons, in addition to conducting 1,261 surgical operations within the Saudi Volunteer Hope Program for our brothers in Syria, which aims to implement 104 medical and surgical campaigns, and provide training and educational programs and economic empowerment initiatives, with the participation of 3,000 male and female volunteers.
This assistance is an extension of the continuous support provided by the Kingdom to its brothers in Syria, and a confirmation of the role played by the Kingdom in extending a helping hand to brotherly and friendly countries during various crises and hardships.
