أكدت وزارة السياحة ضرورة التزام مرافق الضيافة السياحية ومرافق الضيافة السياحية الخاصة، بالحصول على ترخيص مزاولة الأنشطة من الوزارة لضمان جودة الخدمات المقدمة للسياح والزوار في كل مناطق ومدن السعودية.
وأهابت الوزارة بجميع مرافق الضيافة السياحية، ومرافق الضيافة السياحية الخاصة، ضرورة استخراج أو تجديد ترخيص وزارة السياحة قبل مزاولة النشاط، مبينةً أن عدم الالتزام بالحصول على الترخيص أو التصريح سيُعرّض المخالفين لعقوبات تصل إلى غرامة مالية بمقدار مليون ريال، أو إغلاق المرفق، أو كليهما معاً، إضافة إلى التشهير بالمخالفين.
وأكدت أنه سيتم تطبيق العقوبات النظامية على المخالفين لنظام السياحة ولوائحه، وذلك على كل منشأة مخالفة تمارس النشاط دون الحصول على ترخيص من وزارة السياحة.
وكانت وزارة السياحة قد أطلقت حملة «ضيوفنا أولوية»؛ بهدف تعزيز التزام مرافق الضيافة بمعايير التراخيص والتصنيف، وضمان امتثالها للاشتراطات والمتطلبات.

The Ministry of Tourism emphasized the necessity for tourism hospitality facilities and private tourism hospitality facilities to obtain a license to operate from the ministry to ensure the quality of services provided to tourists and visitors in all regions and cities of Saudi Arabia.
The ministry urged all tourism hospitality facilities and private tourism hospitality facilities to obtain or renew the Ministry of Tourism license before commencing operations, stating that failure to obtain the license or permit will expose violators to penalties of up to a fine of one million riyals, or closure of the facility, or both, in addition to publicizing the violators.
It confirmed that regulatory penalties will be applied to violators of the tourism system and its regulations, for any establishment that operates without obtaining a license from the Ministry of Tourism.
The Ministry of Tourism had launched the "Our Guests Are a Priority" campaign aimed at enhancing the commitment of hospitality facilities to licensing and classification standards, and ensuring their compliance with the conditions and requirements.
