احتفلت الهيئة العامة للترفيه (GEA)، مساء اليوم (الأحد)، بتخريج الدفعة الثالثة لمسرّعة أعمال الترفيه، بحضور عدد من ممثلي الجهات الحكومية، والشركاء الداعمين، والمستثمرين، في أمسية كرّست نجاحات المسرّعة، وسلّطت الضوء على دورها المتنامي في تمكين رواد الأعمال في قطاع الترفيه.
وشهد الحفل استعراض أبرز مخرجات المسرّعة التي أقيمت ضمن برنامج المسرّعات والحاضنات التابع للهيئة، حيث حققت الدفعة الثالثة نتائج نوعية بتخريج 17 شركة، تلقت 117 جلسة إرشادية، و100 ساعة من الجلسات التوجيهية المخصصة للشركات الناشئة، إلى جانب تنظيم 21 ورشة عمل شارك في تنفيذها 41 مرشداً وخبيراً متخصصاً.
وفي كلمة ألقاها خلال الحفل، أوضح نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لقطاع الاستثمار وتطوير الأعمال في الهيئة العامة للترفيه مهند العباد، أن هذه النسخة من المسرّعة شهدت إنجازات نوعية، بفضل الدعم الذي توليه قيادتنا الرشيدة – أيدها الله – وتوجيه ومتابعة من رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة المستشار تركي بن عبدالمحسن آل الشيخ، مؤكداً مواصلة دعم الابتكار من خلال هذه المسرّعة، وتحفيز دخول الشركات الناشئة إلى السوق، ورفع كفاءات المواهب الوطنية لتحقيق مستهدفات برنامج جودة الحياة، والوصول إلى تطلعات رؤية السعودية 2030.
واستعرض الحفل عدداً من النماذج الريادية التي انطلقت من المسرّعة، حيث قدم رواد الأعمال عروضاً حيّة لمشاريعهم أمام المستثمرين والجهات الداعمة، في تتويج لرحلة احتضنت مراحل التطوير والتأهيل والتوجيه، وخلقت بيئة حاضنة للابتكار في قطاع يشهد نمواً متسارعاً.
يذكر أن تخريج هذه الدفعة يمثل محطة مهمة في مسار دعم ريادة الأعمال في المملكة، ويعكس الجهود المتواصلة للهيئة العامة للترفيه في تعزيز مشاركة الشركات الناشئة ضمن المنظومة الاقتصادية، وبناء جيل جديد من رواد الأعمال القادرين على الإسهام الفعّال في تطوير صناعة الترفيه.
كما تمت الإشادة بالشراكات الفاعلة التي أسهمت في نجاح المسرّعة، والتأكيد على استمرار العمل نحو مزيد من المبادرات الريادية، التي تضع الترفيه في قلب التحول الوطني، وتفتح آفاقاً جديدة أمام الكفاءات السعودية الشابة.
The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) celebrated the graduation of the third batch of the Entertainment Accelerator this evening (Sunday), in the presence of several representatives from government entities, supporting partners, and investors, in an evening dedicated to the successes of the accelerator and highlighting its growing role in empowering entrepreneurs in the entertainment sector.
The ceremony showcased the most significant outputs of the accelerator, which was held as part of the authority's accelerator and incubator program. The third batch achieved qualitative results by graduating 17 companies, which received 117 mentoring sessions and 100 hours of dedicated advisory sessions for startups, in addition to organizing 21 workshops conducted by 41 specialized mentors and experts.
In a speech delivered during the ceremony, the Vice President for Investment and Business Development at the General Entertainment Authority, Mohannad Al-Abbad, explained that this version of the accelerator witnessed significant achievements, thanks to the support provided by our wise leadership – may God support it – and the guidance and follow-up from the Chairman of the Board of the Authority, Advisor Turki bin Abdulmohsen Al-Sheikh. He emphasized the continued support for innovation through this accelerator, encouraging the entry of startups into the market, and enhancing the capabilities of national talents to achieve the objectives of the Quality of Life Program and meet the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030.
The ceremony featured several entrepreneurial models that emerged from the accelerator, where entrepreneurs presented live demonstrations of their projects to investors and supporting entities, culminating a journey that embraced stages of development, qualification, and guidance, creating an incubating environment for innovation in a rapidly growing sector.
It is noteworthy that the graduation of this batch represents an important milestone in the path of supporting entrepreneurship in the Kingdom, reflecting the ongoing efforts of the General Entertainment Authority to enhance the participation of startups within the economic system and build a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of effectively contributing to the development of the entertainment industry.
Additionally, the effective partnerships that contributed to the success of the accelerator were praised, and there was an emphasis on continuing to work towards more entrepreneurial initiatives that place entertainment at the heart of national transformation and open new horizons for young Saudi talents.
