رعى محافظ جدة الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، اليوم، الحفل الختامي لمسابقة جامعة جدة للقرآن الكريم في دورتها السادسة عشرة للعام 1446هـ، بحضور رئيس جامعة جدة المكلف الدكتور عدنان بن سالم الحميدان، بمقر مركز المؤتمرات بالجامعة.
وفور وصول محافظ جدة تجول في المعرض المصاحب للمسابقة، الذي يضم أكثر من 60 مشروعاً تقنيّاً يُعنى بخدمة القرآن الكريم والعناية به، ثم ألقى الأمين العام لمسابقة القرآن الكريم الدكتور فهد العطري كلمة ثمّن خلالها لمحافظ جدة رعايته للحفل ودعمه الدائم، مقدماً الشكر للجان القائمة على المسابقة والمشاركين فيها.
وأوضح أن مسابقة جامعة جدة للقرآن الكريم في نسختها السادسة عشرة تواصل دورها في تعزيز مهارات الطلاب ونشر الوعي القرآني، بمشاركة واسعة من الحُفّاظ والحافظات.
يذكر أن عدد المتقدمين في المسابقة تجاوز 1000 متسابق من طلاب وطالبات التعليم العام والجامعي بمحافظة جدة، في مختلف مساراتها، وشاركوا في مجموعة من المسارات تشمل: طلاب وطالبات التعليم الثانوي، والجامعي في أربعة فروع، ومساراً مخصصاً لطلاب ذوي الإعاقة في ثلاثة فروع، إضافة إلى مسابقة تحدي التقنية التي تتناول ثلاثة مجالات، ومسار «آية وصورة» للتصوير الإبداعي، فضلاً عن مسابقة الخط القرآني التي تُسهم في غرس الفخر والاعتزاز بالقرآن الكريم.
وتسعى المسابقة إلى ترسيخ القيم الإسلامية والوعي الديني في نفوس النشء، من خلال دمج التعليم بالقيم الروحية، وتعزيز مسيرة التنمية المستدامة في المجتمع.
وفي الختام كرّم محافظ جدة الفائزين والجهات الداعمة.
The Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, today sponsored the closing ceremony of the Jeddah University Quran Competition in its sixteenth edition for the year 1446 AH, in the presence of the Acting President of Jeddah University, Dr. Adnan bin Salem Al-Humaidan, at the university's conference center.
Upon his arrival, the Governor of Jeddah toured the accompanying exhibition of the competition, which includes more than 60 technical projects dedicated to serving and caring for the Quran. Then, the Secretary-General of the Quran Competition, Dr. Fahd Al-Otri, delivered a speech in which he praised the Governor of Jeddah for his sponsorship of the ceremony and his ongoing support, expressing gratitude to the committees overseeing the competition and the participants.
He explained that the Jeddah University Quran Competition in its sixteenth edition continues its role in enhancing students' skills and promoting Quranic awareness, with wide participation from both male and female memorizers.
It is noteworthy that the number of applicants in the competition exceeded 1,000 competitors from male and female students in general and university education in Jeddah, across various tracks. They participated in a range of tracks including: secondary school students, university students in four branches, a track dedicated to students with disabilities in three branches, in addition to the Tech Challenge competition covering three fields, and the "Verse and Image" track for creative photography, as well as the Quranic calligraphy competition that contributes to instilling pride and appreciation for the Quran.
The competition aims to instill Islamic values and religious awareness in the hearts of the youth by integrating education with spiritual values and enhancing the path of sustainable development in the community.
In conclusion, the Governor of Jeddah honored the winners and the supporting entities.
