رئيس مجلس الشورى يصل إلى مصر في زيارة رسمية

The Chairman of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, arrived in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt at the beginning of an official visit leading a delegation from the council; in response to an official invitation he received from the Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali.

Upon his arrival at Cairo International Airport, he was welcomed by the Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives, Counselor Dr. Hanafi Jabali, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini, the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar, the Counselor Ahmed Manaa, Secretary-General of the House of Representatives, and a number of senior officials from the Egyptian House of Representatives.

During the visit, the Chairman of the Shura Council will hold an official discussion session with the Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives and meet with several Egyptian officials. The visit will witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Shura Council and the Egyptian House of Representatives regarding parliamentary cooperation.

The delegation accompanying the Chairman of the Shura Council includes council members Saad bin Sulaib Al-Otaibi, Ijlal bin Abdulaziz Al-Ijlal, Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Tawi, Dr. Amal bint Yahya Al-Sheikh, Dr. Ghada bint Talat Al-Hadhli, and a number of council staff.
