أعربت دولة الكويت عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين لمحاولة ميليشيا الحوثي استهداف المدينة المنورة بصاروخ باليستي. وأكدت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية -في بيان لها اليوم- رفضها القاطع لاستمرار هذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية التي تمثل انتهاكاً صارخاً لسيادة المملكة وخرقاً فاضحاً للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني واستفزازاً لمشاعر المسلمين في شتى أنحاء العالم.
وجددت تضامن دولة الكويت المطلق مع المملكة العربية السعودية ووقوفها إلى جانبها ودعمها لجميع الإجراءات التي تتخذها لصون سيادتها وأمنها وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها. وشددت على أن أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن دولة الكويت وأمن دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.
The State of Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia's attempt to target the city of Medina with a ballistic missile. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement today its firm rejection of the continuation of these terrorist attacks, which represent a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law, as well as a provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world.
Kuwait reiterated its absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty and security and to protect its citizens and residents on its territory. It emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
