التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، في العاصمة فيينا اليوم، الوزيرة الاتحادية للشؤون الأوروبية والدولية بجمهورية النمسا بياته ماينل رايزنجر.
واستعرض الجانبان العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، وسبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات، بما يسهم في تحقيق المصالح المتبادلة ويدعم الشراكة القائمة بين المملكة وجمهورية النمسا.
وجدد وزير الخارجية تهنئته لجمهورية النمسا بمناسبة انتخابها عضوًا غير دائم في مجلس الأمن للفترة 2027 - 2028، معربًا عن تطلعه إلى إسهامها في دعم الجهود الدولية الرامية إلى تعزيز السلم والأمن الدوليين، وترسيخ مبادئ القانون الدولي والعمل متعدد الأطراف.
وناقش الجانبان التطورات الإقليمية والدولية الراهنة، ورحبا بالاتفاق الذي تم التوصل إليه بين الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، مؤكدين أهمية البناء على هذه الخطوة لدعم الاستقرار الإقليمي، وتعزيز الحلول السياسية والدبلوماسية لمعالجة الأزمات وتسوية الخلافات.
وتناول الجانبان فرص توسيع التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثماري بين البلدين، وسبل تعزيز التعاون في مختلف المجالات ومنها الطاقة والطاقة المتجددة والخدمات اللوجستية، وأكدا أهمية تشجيع الاستثمارات المتبادلة خصوصًا في ظل الفرص النوعية التي تتيحها رؤية المملكة 2030، لا سيما في قطاعات الطاقة البديلة والتقنيات الحديثة.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, met today in the capital Vienna with the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Beate Meinl-Reisinger.
The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields, contributing to achieving mutual interests and supporting the existing partnership between the Kingdom and the Republic of Austria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs renewed his congratulations to the Republic of Austria on its election as a non-permanent member of the Security Council for the term 2027 - 2028, expressing his hope for its contribution to supporting international efforts aimed at promoting international peace and security, and reinforcing the principles of international law and multilateral action.
The two sides discussed current regional and international developments, welcoming the agreement reached between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, emphasizing the importance of building on this step to support regional stability and enhance political and diplomatic solutions to address crises and resolve disputes.
The two sides addressed opportunities to expand economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields including energy, renewable energy, and logistics services. They emphasized the importance of encouraging mutual investments, especially in light of the unique opportunities provided by Vision 2030 of the Kingdom, particularly in the sectors of alternative energy and modern technologies.
Attending the meeting were the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Austria, Abdullah bin Khalid Tula, and the Minister's Advisor, Mohammed Al-Yahya.
