The Civil Status Authority has expanded the scope of its field services through mobile units, which provide services to both men and women in 85 locations across various regions of the Kingdom, as part of the initiatives (We Come to You) and (We Are Here); aimed at facilitating access to civil registry services and delivering them to beneficiaries in government and private entities, as well as in provinces, centers, and villages far from civil status offices.
The field tours included a number of educational sites, government entities, and population centers in the regions of Al-Baha, Al-Qassim, Asir, Eastern Province, Riyadh, Makkah, Ha'il, Al-Jawf, Medina, Najran, Northern Borders, and Jazan; according to a timetable extending over several days during the current week.
The mobile units offer a range of civil registry services; among the most prominent are issuing national identity cards, renewing them, and issuing replacements for damaged cards, which contributes to facilitating the completion of transactions and saving time and effort for beneficiaries.
Mobile services are considered one of the most prominent channels of the Civil Status Authority's field services, as they allow access to beneficiaries at their locations and enhance the quality of government services provided in various regions of the Kingdom, especially in areas far from fixed office locations.
