The National Institute for Professional Educational Development has announced the extension of the registration period for the Professional Master's Program in Teaching until (Tuesday), October 13th of this current month for university graduates wishing to join new educational positions, following the Ministry of Education's requirement to obtain a master's degree for those wishing to enter the teaching profession.
This extension comes to provide an opportunity for graduates to apply and complete the requirements for joining the program, which will commence on January 17th of the new calendar year 2027.
It is worth noting that the program offers a professional pathway to prepare candidates before entering the teaching profession, by building their competencies in teaching, classroom management, and assessment, and linking their academic knowledge with practical application and field training. It also directs the preparation of candidates according to the needs of the field in terms of specializations and educational stages; enhancing their readiness for practice and improving the quality of teacher preparation from the very beginning of their professional journey, contributing to the overall quality of teacher preparation within the system, and helping schools to welcome a teacher who is more prepared for practice, which in turn reflects on the quality of education in the community.
