أعلنت الهيئة العامة للنقل تسجيل منصة الحفر البحرية «بوب بالمر-50» تحت العلم السعودي، بالتزامن مع اليوم البحري العالمي، بحضور قيادات من الهيئة والشركات المشاركة.

وتُعد المنصة من أكبر منصات الحفر البحرية في العالم، ويمثل تسجيلها امتداداً لجهود الهيئة في استقطاب الأصول والوحدات البحرية النوعية للتسجيل تحت العلم السعودي، بما يسهم في زيادة حجم الأسطول ورفع إجمالي الحمولة المسجلة.
وأكدت الهيئة أن تسجيل المنصة يمثل إضافة محورية للأسطول البحري السعودي، ويعكس تطور الإطار التنظيمي للقطاع البحري، ويدعم مستهدفات المملكة في تنمية الاقتصاد البحري وتعزيز مكانتها مركزاً لوجستياً عالمياً، ورفع مساهمة القطاع البحري في الاقتصاد الوطني.
The General Authority for Transport announced the registration of the offshore drilling platform "Bob Palmer-50" under the Saudi flag, coinciding with World Maritime Day, in the presence of leaders from the authority and participating companies.
Key Addition
The platform is one of the largest offshore drilling platforms in the world, and its registration represents an extension of the authority's efforts to attract quality marine assets and units for registration under the Saudi flag, contributing to the increase in fleet size and raising the total registered tonnage.
The authority confirmed that the registration of the platform is a key addition to the Saudi maritime fleet, reflects the development of the regulatory framework for the maritime sector, supports the Kingdom's objectives in developing the maritime economy, enhances its position as a global logistics hub, and increases the maritime sector's contribution to the national economy.
