شارك وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله في الاجتماع الوزاري المشترك بين مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية ورابطة دول جنوب شرق آسيا «آسيان»، الذي عُقد في نيويورك على هامش أعمال الأسبوع رفيع المستوى للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في دورتها الـ81.

وبحث الاجتماع مسار الشراكة بين الجانبين وسبل تحويل التعاون القائم إلى مشاريع ومبادرات عملية تعزز المصالح المشتركة، إلى جانب فرص توسيع التعاون في المجالات الاقتصادية والتجارية والاستثمارية والتنموية، ومواصلة التنسيق والتشاور بشأن القضايا الإقليمية والدولية.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah participated in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which was held in New York on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Projects and Initiatives
The meeting discussed the partnership path between the two sides and ways to transform the existing cooperation into practical projects and initiatives that enhance mutual interests, in addition to opportunities to expand cooperation in economic, commercial, investment, and developmental fields, and to continue coordination and consultation on regional and international issues.
