The municipalities and regions have completed their field and operational preparations to welcome residents and visitors during the Saudi National Day celebrations by preparing public parks, recreational areas, squares, and municipal facilities, and setting up designated sites for holding events and celebratory programs for this national occasion.

Comprehensive Plans

The preparations are part of comprehensive plans to enhance readiness in public facilities and provide a safe and well-equipped environment for park and recreational area visitors, allowing families and individuals to enjoy National Day programs in an organized atmosphere that reflects the significance of the occasion and the pride and appreciation for the nation and its achievements.

The preparation work included setting up celebration sites and ensuring the readiness of squares, pathways, entrances, and exits, maintaining lighting poles, preparing service facilities, and enhancing public safety elements, which contributes to organizing visitor movement and increasing comfort in the designated event areas.

Highlighting the Aesthetic Image

Additionally, several municipal sites and facilities were decorated with national identities and elements, adding a festive character to parks and public squares, which enhances the expressions of joy and celebration for the national occasion and highlights the aesthetic image of Mecca during National Day.

The work also included caring for green spaces, pruning trees and shrubs, planting seasonal flowers, maintaining irrigation networks, and improving the efficiency of pathways and public seating areas, along with inspecting children's play equipment to ensure its safety and readiness for use.

Preparing Service Facilities

The municipalities were keen to prepare service facilities within parks and celebration sites, including restrooms, vehicle parking, pedestrian pathways, seating areas, and organizational barriers, while considering ease of access to facilities and providing services for various segments of the community.

Simultaneously, general cleaning and environmental sanitation efforts were intensified, along with field tours to monitor the readiness of facilities and services, address observations, and ensure compliance with health and municipal regulations in establishments surrounding celebration sites and public parks, which supports the safety of visitors and the quality of services provided to them.
