بحث التحالف الإسلامي العسكري لمحاربة الإرهاب والجمهورية العربية السورية، اليوم، في الرياض، سبل تعزيز التعاون في مواجهة الإرهاب والتطرف، وبناء القدرات وتبادل الخبرات، واستعراض برامج التحالف في مجالاته الأربعة: الفكري والإعلامي ومحاربة تمويل الإرهاب والعسكري.
تطوير مبادرات
التحالف الإسلامي العسكري لمحاربة الإرهاب والجمهورية العربية السورية يبحثان شراكة متكاملة لمواجهة الإرهاب. (واس).
جاء ذلك خلال لقاء الأمين العام للتحالف اللواء الطيار الركن محمد بن سعيد المغيدي، القائم بالأعمال رئيس بعثة سورية لدى المملكة الوزير المفوض محسن مهباش، إذ أكد المغيدي أهمية انضمام سورية إلى التحالف، بالنظر إلى مكانتها ودورها في أمن المنطقة واستقرارها، واستعداد التحالف لتطوير مبادرات تلبي أولوياتها في مكافحة الإرهاب والتطرف.
برنامج متكامل
وأوضح أن إستراتيجية التحالف تقوم على تكامل مجالات مكافحة الإرهاب. فيما أكد مهباش أن مواجهة الإرهاب تتطلب برنامجاً متكاملاً يعالج جذوره وأسبابه، إلى جانب التعاون الدولي وتبادل المعلومات والخبرات.
وتأتي الزيارة في إطار تعزيز التنسيق بين الجانبين وبحث مسارات تعاون فاعلة في مكافحة الإرهاب والتطرف ودعم الأمن والاستقرار.

This came during a meeting between the Secretary-General of the alliance, Lieutenant General Pilot Rakan Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Mughaidi, and the Chargé d'Affaires and Head of the Syrian Mission to the Kingdom, Minister Plenipotentiary Mohsen Mahbash, where Al-Mughaidi emphasized the importance of Syria's joining the alliance, given its position and role in the region's security and stability, and the alliance's readiness to develop initiatives that meet its priorities in combating terrorism and extremism.
Comprehensive Program
He explained that the alliance's strategy is based on the integration of areas of combating terrorism. Meanwhile, Mahbash confirmed that confronting terrorism requires a comprehensive program that addresses its roots and causes, in addition to international cooperation and the exchange of information and experiences.
The visit comes within the framework of enhancing coordination between the two sides and discussing effective cooperation pathways in combating terrorism and extremism and supporting security and stability.
