أدانت رابطة العالم الإسلامي -باستنكار شديد- مواصلة مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية عدوانها الآثم على المملكة العربية السعودية، واستهدافها محافظة الطائف بطائرة «مسيّرة»، مما أدى إلى وفاة مقيم من الجنسية اليمنية -رحمه الله-، وإصابة مواطنة ومقيم من الجنسية الباكستانية حالته حرجة، إضافة إلى أضرار مادية في عدد من المباني والمركبات، من جرّاء الشظايا الناتجة عن اعتراضها وتدميرها.
وفي بيان للأمانة العامة للرابطة، جدّد الأمين العام، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين، الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، التنديد بهذه الاعتداءات الإرهابية الغادرة، التي تنتهك كل القيم الدينية، والقوانين والأعراف الدولية والإنسانية، وتؤكد النهج الإجرامي لهذه المليشيا الإرهابية في تعمد استهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية.
وجدّد العيسى -باسم مجامع الرابطة وهيئاتها ومجالسها العالمية، وباسم كافة الشعوب الإسلامية المنضوية تحت مظلتها- التأكيد على التضامن الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية، في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لردع المعتدين، وحفظ أمنها وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، سائلًا الله تعالى أن يحفظها أرضًا وقيادةً وشعبًا من كل سوء ومكروه.
The Muslim World League strongly condemned the continued wicked aggression of the Houthi terrorist militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specifically targeting the Taif region with a "drone," which resulted in the death of a resident of Yemeni nationality - may Allah have mercy on him - and the injury of a citizen and a resident of Pakistani nationality in critical condition, in addition to material damages to several buildings and vehicles due to the shrapnel resulting from its interception and destruction.
In a statement from the General Secretariat of the League, the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, reiterated the condemnation of these treacherous terrorist attacks, which violate all religious values, international laws, and humanitarian norms, and confirm the criminal approach of this terrorist militia in deliberately targeting civilians and civilian objects.
Al-Issa also renewed - on behalf of the League's assemblies, bodies, and global councils, and on behalf of all the Islamic peoples under its umbrella - the affirmation of full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter aggressors and ensure the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, asking Allah Almighty to protect it, its land, leadership, and people from all harm and misfortune.
