أحبطت قوات الدفاع الجوي الملكي السعودي محاولة عدائية جديدة لمليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية لاستهداف العاصمة المقدسة، بعد اعتراض وتدمير طائرة مسيّرة معادية أطلقتها المليشيا، قبل دخولها المجال الجوي المحظور للعاصمة المقدسة مكة المكرمة. وأوضح المتحدث باسم قوات التحالف «تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن» اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، أنه عند 18:50 من مساء الثلاثاء (15 سبتمبر 2026م)، تمكّنت قوات الدفاع الجوي الملكي السعودي من اعتراض وتدمير المسيّرة المعادية، وذلك في جنوب مدينة مكة المكرمة، قبل دخولها المجال الجوي المحظور (PROHIBITED AREA) للعاصمة المقدسة. وبيّن المالكي، أن هذه المحاولة العدائية والإرهابية هي المحاولة الثانية لاستهداف مكة المكرمة، بعد المحاولة الأولى بإطلاق صاروخ باليستي بتاريخ 27 يوليو 2017م، مؤكدًا أن استهداف مهبط الوحي وأرض الرسالة ومهوى أفئدة الملايين من المسلمين من مختلف دول العالم يمثل عملًا مشينًا، ومحاولة لترويع الآمنين من ضيوف بيت الله الحرام والإضرار بالمواطنين والمقيمين.
وأشار إلى أن هذه المحاولة العدائية ستبقى وصمة سوداء في سجل انتهاكات المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية المتطرفة، باعتبارها فعلًا متعمدًا لاستثارة مشاعر ملايين المسلمين.
وأكد اللواء المالكي، أن أمن الحرمين الشريفين وضيوف الرحمن خط أحمر، مشدّدًا على أن قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف لن تتردد في اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة والرادعة تجاه المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية وسلوكها العدائي والإرهابي.
The Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces thwarted a new hostile attempt by the Houthi terrorist militia to target the holy capital, after intercepting and destroying an enemy drone launched by the militia before it entered the restricted airspace of the holy capital, Mecca. The spokesperson for the coalition forces, "Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen," Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that at 18:50 on Tuesday evening (September 15, 2026), the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces managed to intercept and destroy the hostile drone in the southern part of the city of Mecca, before it entered the prohibited area (PROHIBITED AREA) of the holy capital. Al-Maliki indicated that this hostile and terrorist attempt is the second attempt to target Mecca, following the first attempt to launch a ballistic missile on July 27, 2017, emphasizing that targeting the place of revelation, the land of the message, and the heart's desire of millions of Muslims from various countries around the world represents a disgraceful act and an attempt to terrorize the safe guests of the Sacred House of God and harm citizens and residents.
He pointed out that this hostile attempt will remain a black mark in the record of violations by the extremist Houthi militia, as it is a deliberate act to provoke the feelings of millions of Muslims.
Major General Al-Maliki affirmed that the security of the Two Holy Mosques and the guests of the Merciful is a red line, stressing that the leadership of the joint coalition forces will not hesitate to take the necessary and deterrent measures against the Houthi terrorist militia and its hostile and terrorist behavior.
