لعل أخطر ما في اعتراض الدفاع الجوي السعودي لمسيّرة حوثية كانت تستهدف مكة المكرمة، أنها لا تمثل تصعيداً عسكرياً جديداً فحسب، بل تفضح حجم الهوة بين الشعارات الزائفة التي ترفعها المليشيا الحوثية والممارسات على الأرض.
فالجماعة التي تقدم عملياتها الإقليمية تحت راية «نصرة غزة والقدس»، تجد نفسها اليوم أمام سؤال كاشف وفاضح في آن واحد ولا يمكن الهروب منه: كيف يمكن الادعاء بالدفاع عن المقدسات الإسلامية، بينما تستهدف بسلاحها العاصمة المقدسة، قبلة المسلمين ومهوى أفئدتهم؟
الشيء المؤكد، أن عملية إدخال قبلة المسلمين في نطاق التهديد العسكري تمثل في ذاتها تصعيداً بالغ الحساسية والخطورة، إذ إنه تطور يمس مشاعر أكثر من مليار ونصف المليار مسلم حول العالم.
ومن هنا، تسقط الدعاية أمام اختبار الفعل، فالقدس لا يمكن أن تكون لافتة سياسية ترفع لتبرير كل تصعيد، وغزة لا ينبغي أن تتحول إلى غطاء يمنح المليشيا حق تعريض مدن أخرى ومقدسات أخرى ومدنيين لمخاطر الحرب.
وهكذا تتهاوى ادعاءات ذراع إيران الإرهابية أمام الرأي العام، إذ إن المقدسات لا تجزأ وحرمتها لا تخضع للحسابات السياسية. ومن يرفع شعار القدس مطالب بأن يفسر كيف وصل عدوانه إلى أبواب مكة المكرمة.

From here, propaganda collapses in the face of the test of action; Jerusalem cannot be a political banner raised to justify every escalation, and Gaza should not become a cover that grants the militia the right to expose other cities, other sanctities, and civilians to the dangers of war.
Thus, the claims of Iran's terrorist arm crumble before public opinion, as sanctities are indivisible and their sanctity does not succumb to political calculations. Those who raise the banner of Jerusalem are required to explain how their aggression reached the gates of Mecca.
