أعرب رئيس البرلمان العربي محمد بن أحمد اليماحي عن إدانة البرلمان واستنكاره الشديدين للاعتداءات الإرهابية التي نفذتها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية بالصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة، مستهدفة مدن خميس مشيط وأبها والطائف في المملكة، ما أسفر عن إصابة عدد من المدنيين، ووقوع أضرار مادية في عدد من المنازل السكنية والمركبات.
وأكد اليماحي، في بيان، أن هذه الاعتداءات السافرة تمثل انتهاكاً صارخاً لقواعد القانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني، وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة.
محاسبة المرتكبين والداعمين للاعتداءات
وجدد تضامن البرلمان العربي الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية، ودعمه التام لكل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحماية سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها، وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، مشدداً على أن أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من منظومة الأمن القومي العربي.
ودعا البرلمان العربي مجلس الأمن إلى الاضطلاع بمسؤولياته، واتخاذ موقف حازم لوقف هذه الاعتداءات المتكررة، ومحاسبة مرتكبيها والداعمين لها، بما يسهم في حفظ أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.
The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, expressed the Parliament's strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia using ballistic missiles and drones, targeting the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif in the Kingdom, which resulted in injuries to a number of civilians and caused material damage to several residential homes and vehicles.
Al-Yamahi affirmed, in a statement, that these blatant attacks represent a flagrant violation of the rules of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter, and relevant Security Council resolutions.
Accountability for the Perpetrators and Supporters of the Attacks
The Arab Parliament reiterated its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its complete support for all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as to protect its citizens and residents on its territory, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the Arab national security system.
The Arab Parliament called on the Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take a firm stance to stop these repeated attacks and hold accountable those who perpetrate and support them, contributing to the preservation of the region's security and stability.
