ولي العهد يلتقي الرئيس المصري ويعقدان لقاءً ثنائياً وجلسة مباحثات موسعة

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, met today with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, at the Ittihadiya Palace in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

The Crown Prince and the President of Egypt held a bilateral meeting and an expanded discussion session.

The Egyptian President welcomed the Crown Prince to his second home, Egypt, while the Crown Prince expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality and kind reception he and his companions received.

The strategic bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, along with ways to develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing several issues on the Arab and Islamic arenas, and the developments in the Middle East, particularly discussing files related to the security and stability of the region, including maritime security and freedom of navigation, and coordinating efforts regarding them.

Attending the meeting were Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet for Shura Council Affairs Dr. Issam bin Saad bin Saeed, and the Crown Prince's Secretary Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed.

From the Egyptian side, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, the Head of General Intelligence, Major General Hassan Rashad, the Director of the President's Office, Mr. Omar Marwan, and the Spokesperson for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy.
