صرّح مصدر مسؤول في وزارة الطاقة باستهداف عدد من منشآت ومرافق قطاع الطاقة في المنطقة الجنوبية من المملكة صباح اليوم (الثلاثاء) 8 سبتمبر 2026م، وقد باشرت الجهات المختصة التعامل معها واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
وأوضح المصدر أن الاستهدافات تسببت في نشوب حرائق في عدد من المواقع، ما أدى إلى توقف مؤقت لبعض العمليات التشغيلية، فيما باشرت الفرق الميدانية المختصة أعمال احتواء الحرائق وتأمين المواقع وتقييم الأضرار.
وأضاف المصدر أن الاستهدافات أسفرت عن إصابة عدد من المواطنين والمقيمين بإصابات متفاوتة، ويجري تقديم الرعاية الطبية اللازمة للمصابين، فيما لا تزال أعمال التقييم والمتابعة مستمرة.
وأكد المصدر أن الجهات المختصة تواصل التعامل مع تداعيات الاستهدافات، واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان سلامة المنشآت والعاملين، واستمرارية الأعمال وفق الخطط التشغيلية المعتمدة.
