تحت رعاية وحضور وزير الداخلية الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، انطلقت اليوم (الأحد) في الرياض فعاليات مؤتمر «حوار الأمن والتاريخ 2026»، الذي تنظمه وزارة الداخلية في الفترة من 6 إلى 8 سبتمبر في قصر الثقافة بحي السفارات، تحت شعار «تاريخنا ومستقبلنا.. أمن ونماء»، بمشاركة أكثر من 160 متحدثاً من السعودية وخارجها. ويستحضر المؤتمر مسيرة تمتد لأكثر من 300 عام من تاريخ الأمن في الدولة السعودية، ويقدم قراءة متعددة الأبعاد لتجربة السعودية وتحولاتها، مستعرضاً العلاقة الوثيقة بين استتباب الأمن واستدامة التنمية، وأثرهما في بناء الدولة وترسيخ الهوية الوطنية ودعم مسيرة النمو والازدهار.
الأمن والهوية والنماء
في كلمته خلال افتتاح المؤتمر، أكد المشرف العام على المؤتمر أحمد محمد الطويان أن الأمن والتاريخ يمثلان ركيزتين أساسيتين في مسيرة السعودية، مشيراً إلى أن المؤتمر ينعقد في ظل ما حققته السعودية من منجزات، وما تتطلع إليه من مستقبل يقوم على الأمن والازدهار والهوية الراسخة. وأوضح أن المؤتمر يحمل ثلاث رسائل رئيسية تتمثل في الأمن والهوية والنماء، مؤكداً أن «الأمن منهج ثابت لا وليد ظرف»، وأن الهوية تجسد قصة السعودية منذ بداية مسيرتها وصولاً إلى وطن راسخ، فيما تقوم رسالة النماء على حقيقة أنه «لا تنمية بلا أمن، ولا مستقبل بلا تاريخ». وقال: «أمن يحمي، وتاريخ يلهم، ونماء يمتد.. ثلاثية تصنع مسيرة وطن يعرف قيمة ما أنجز، ويُعد لما سيُنجز»، مشيراً إلى الاعتزاز بماضي السعودية الأصيل وحاضرها الطموح، واستشراف مستقبلها بالعلم والهوية الراسخة، في ظل قيادة تسخر الإمكانات لتعزيز الأمن والازدهار.
منصة للحوار والتفاعل
يُعد المؤتمر منصة وطنية للحوار والتفاعل الفكري والتاريخي، إذ يبحث عبر جلساته مسيرة السعودية في مجالي الأمن والتنمية، وتجربة الدولة وتحولاتها في عدد من المحاور، تشمل السياسة والاقتصاد والمجتمع والثقافة والوعي والهوية الوطنية والعلاقات الدولية وبناء المؤسسات. ويتضمن البرنامج، الممتد على مدى ثلاثة أيام، أكثر من 65 جلسة حوارية ولقاءً تفاعلياً، بمشاركة أكثر من 30 جهة، وسط توقعات باستقبال أكثر من خمسة آلاف زائر، فيما تتوزع الفعاليات على مسارين متوازيين هما «منصة الحوار» و«مسرح الأمن والتاريخ».
محاور اليوم الأول
يناقش اليوم الأول جذور المكان وبدايات الأمن في الدولة السعودية، وشخصية الملك عبدالعزيز وحضورها في الذاكرة العالمية، إلى جانب الأمن والاستثمار والعدالة والمواطنة والهوية، ورعاية الحرمين الشريفين والمشاعر المقدسة، والإرث العسكري، والثقافة الأمنية ومصادر التاريخ السعودي. ويتناول المؤتمر في يومه الثاني الموروث الوطني في الآداب والفنون، والوعي الوطني الرقمي، ودور السعودية في تحقيق الأمن والسلم إقليمياً وعالمياً، ومستقبل القدرات الأمنية، والشراكات الدولية، وحماية الوعي وتعزيز الاعتدال، والذكاء الاصطناعي وأمن المستقبل. ويناقش اليوم الثالث دور المرأة والأسرة في بناء المجتمع الآمن وترسيخ الوعي الوطني، والموروث الحضاري للسعودية، والأمن والسلم في تاريخ السياسة السعودية، وقصة الإنسان والتنمية وانعكاساتها الأمنية والاجتماعية، إضافة إلى دور الإعلام والقطاعات الأمنية في تعزيز الوعي وصناعة الهوية.
«مسار الأمن».. 3 قرون
يصاحب المؤتمر «مسار الأمن»، الذي يقدم للزوار تجربة معرفية وبصرية تفاعلية تستعرض أكثر من ثلاثة قرون من مسيرة الأمن في الدولة السعودية، منذ مرحلة التأسيس وصولاً إلى تطور المنظومة الأمنية الحديثة وتوظيف التقنيات المعاصرة.

تشارك دارة الملك عبدالعزيز في المؤتمر بصفتها الشريك الرئيسي، والهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض بصفتها الشريك الإستراتيجي، إلى جانب أكاديمية طويق، والشركة السعودية للتحكم التقني والأمني الشامل (تحكم)، وعدد من الجهات.
مثقفون: يعزز الهوية ويفتح نقاش تحديات الأمن والتحولات
أكد مشاركون ومثقفون ومختصون خليجيون أن مؤتمر «حوار الأمن والتاريخ 2026» يمثل مساحة فكرية مهمة لبحث العلاقة بين الأمن والتاريخ والهوية الوطنية، واستحضار مسيرة المملكة الممتدة لثلاثة قرون، وما أسهمت به في ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار والنماء. ووصف رئيس مجلس إدارة معهد البيت الموسيقي العالي الشاعر الدكتور صالح الشادي افتتاح المؤتمر بالمميز، مؤكداً أهمية أن تتجاوز مخرجاته جلسات المؤتمر إلى الواقع، بما يعزز التاريخ والهوية الوطنية ويرسخ مفاهيم الانتماء. وأشار إلى أهمية طرح هذه القضايا من داخل المؤسسة الأمنية، لما يعكسه ذلك من ترابط بين الأمن والثقافة والهوية وبناء الدولة. وأكد السفير أسامة نقلي أن تاريخ المملكة العريق خلال ثلاثة قرون يستحق أن يُروى للأجيال وللعالم، مشدداً على أن ما تنعم به المملكة من أمن وتطور ونماء جاء نتيجة مسيرة طويلة من العمل والعطاء شارك في بنائها أبناء الوطن عبر الأجيال. ورأى الكاتب الباحث يحيى الأمير أن انعقاد المؤتمر يأتي في توقيت مهم، في ظل تحولات متسارعة تفرض أسئلة جديدة حول الأمن والتاريخ والأجيال والتحول الرقمي، معتبراً أن المؤتمر يسد فجوة في النقاش الفكري والمعرفي حول هذه القضايا، مؤكداً أن «الأمن هو العنوان الأول» في مختلف محاور المؤتمر. وأشاد الإعلامي الكويتي محمد الملا باختيار «الأمن والتاريخ» محوراً للمؤتمر، مؤكداً أهمية الجمع بينهما في ظل التحديات التي تواجه المنطقة، واصفاً المملكة بأنها «مملكة الأمن وأرض التاريخ»، ومشيداً بمسيرة الملك عبدالعزيز في ترسيخ أمن الجزيرة العربية، وما تشهده المملكة اليوم من استقرار وتطور. من جانبه أشاد المؤرخ الكاتب الدكتور محمد آل زلفة بتنظيم المؤتمر، مؤكداً أهمية تناول الأمن باعتباره «أهم مرفق في الدولة» وربطه بتاريخ المملكة ومسيرة الحفاظ على أمنها ووحدتها واستقرارها، معرباً عن أمله في استمرار الندوات واللقاءات التي تسلط الضوء على محوري الأمن والتاريخ.

Organized by the Ministry of Interior from September 6 to 8 at the Culture Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter, the conference is held under the slogan "Our History and Our Future... Security and Growth," with the participation of more than 160 speakers from Saudi Arabia and abroad. In his opening speech at the conference, the General Supervisor of the conference, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Tuwayan, emphasized that security and history represent two essential pillars in Saudi Arabia's journey, pointing out that the conference is held in light of the achievements Saudi Arabia has made and its aspirations for a future based on security, prosperity, and a solid identity. He explained that the conference carries three main messages represented in security, identity, and growth, affirming that "security is a constant approach, not a product of circumstance," and that identity embodies the story of Saudi Arabia from the beginning of its journey to a solid homeland, while the message of growth is based on the truth that "there is no development without security, and no future without history." He stated: "Security protects, history inspires, and growth extends... a trilogy that shapes the journey of a nation that knows the value of what has been achieved and prepares for what will be achieved," referring to the pride in Saudi Arabia's authentic past and ambitious present, and envisioning its future through knowledge and a solid identity, under a leadership that harnesses resources to enhance security and prosperity.
A Platform for Dialogue and Interaction
The conference serves as a national platform for dialogue and intellectual and historical interaction, as it explores through its sessions the journey of Saudi Arabia in the fields of security and development, and the state's experiences and transformations across several axes, including politics, economy, society, culture, awareness, national identity, international relations, and institution building. The program, which spans three days, includes more than 65 discussion sessions and interactive meetings, with the participation of over 30 entities, amidst expectations of welcoming more than five thousand visitors, while the activities are distributed across two parallel tracks: "Dialogue Platform" and "Security and History Theater."
Day One Topics
The first day discusses the roots of the place and the beginnings of security in the Saudi state, the personality of King Abdulaziz and its presence in global memory, alongside security, investment, justice, citizenship, and identity, the guardianship of the Two Holy Mosques and sacred sites, military heritage, security culture, and sources of Saudi history. The conference on its second day addresses the national heritage in literature and arts, digital national awareness, Saudi Arabia's role in achieving security and peace regionally and globally, the future of security capabilities, international partnerships, protecting awareness and promoting moderation, artificial intelligence, and future security. The third day discusses the role of women and families in building a secure society and reinforcing national awareness, Saudi Arabia's civilizational heritage, security and peace in the history of Saudi politics, the story of humanity and development and its security and social implications, in addition to the role of media and security sectors in enhancing awareness and shaping identity.
"Security Path"... 3 Centuries
Accompanying the conference is the "Security Path," which offers visitors an interactive knowledge and visual experience showcasing over three centuries of security in the Saudi state, from the founding phase to the development of the modern security system and the employment of contemporary technologies.

The King Abdulaziz Foundation participates in the conference as the main partner, while the Royal Commission for Riyadh City serves as the strategic partner, alongside Tuwaiq Academy, the Saudi Company for Technical and Security Control (Tahakom), and several other entities.

Participants, intellectuals, and Gulf specialists confirmed that the "Security and History Dialogue 2026" conference represents an important intellectual space for discussing the relationship between security, history, and national identity, recalling the Kingdom's journey spanning three centuries and its contributions to establishing security, stability, and growth. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the High Musical Institute, poet Dr. Saleh Al-Shadi, described the opening of the conference as distinctive, emphasizing the importance of translating its outcomes into reality, enhancing history and national identity, and solidifying concepts of belonging. He pointed out the importance of addressing these issues from within the security institution, as this reflects the interconnection between security, culture, identity, and nation-building. Ambassador Osama Naqli affirmed that the Kingdom's rich history over three centuries deserves to be narrated to generations and the world, stressing that the security, development, and growth enjoyed by the Kingdom are the result of a long journey of work and giving, built by the nation's sons across generations. Researcher and writer Yahya Al-Amir viewed the timing of the conference as significant, given the rapid transformations that impose new questions about security, history, generations, and digital transformation, considering that the conference fills a gap in the intellectual and knowledge discussion on these issues, affirming that "security is the primary title" in various conference axes. Kuwaiti media figure Mohammed Al-Mulla praised the choice of "security and history" as the conference's theme, emphasizing the importance of combining them in light of the challenges facing the region, describing the Kingdom as "the Kingdom of Security and the Land of History," and commending King Abdulaziz's journey in establishing the security of the Arabian Peninsula and the stability and development the Kingdom is witnessing today. For his part, historian and writer Dr. Mohammed Al-Zulfa praised the organization of the conference, emphasizing the importance of addressing security as "the most important facility in the state" and linking it to the history of the Kingdom and its journey to maintain its security, unity, and stability, expressing hope for the continuation of seminars and meetings that shed light on the axes of security and history.
