توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد، في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (السبت)، هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة، وكذلك على أجزاء من مرتفعات منطقة مكة المكرمة.
رياح مثيرة للأتربة وشبه انعدام للرؤية
وأوضح المركز أن الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار ستؤثر على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، وقد تصل إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على الأجزاء الساحلية من منطقتي المدينة المنورة ومكة المكرمة.
وأضاف التقرير أنه لا يُستبعد تكوّن الضباب خلال ساعات الصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الساحلية من المنطقة الشرقية.
البحر الأحمر.. أمواج تصل إلى مترين
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر ستكون شمالية غربية إلى غربية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 20 و45 كيلومترًا في الساعة، فيما يتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين متر ومترين، وتكون حالة البحر متوسطة الموج.
الخليج العربي.. رياح جنوبية شرقية
وعلى الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية جنوبية شرقية إلى شرقية، بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و28 كيلومترًا في الساعة، فيما يتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر، وتكون حالة البحر خفيفة الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected, in its report on the weather conditions for today (Saturday), moderate to heavy thunderstorms that could lead to flash floods, accompanied by hail showers, in parts of the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions, as well as in parts of the highlands of the Makkah region.
Winds Causing Dust and Nearly Zero Visibility
The center clarified that active winds causing dust and sand will affect parts of those areas, potentially leading to nearly zero horizontal visibility in the coastal parts of the Medina and Makkah regions.
The report added that fog formation is not ruled out during the early morning hours in the coastal areas of the Eastern Province.
The Red Sea.. Waves Reaching Two Meters
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly, with speeds ranging between 20 and 45 kilometers per hour, while wave heights will range between one and two meters, and the sea condition will be moderate.
The Arabian Gulf.. Southeastern Winds
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will be southeasterly to easterly, with speeds ranging between 10 and 28 kilometers per hour, while wave heights will range between half a meter and one meter, and the sea condition will be light.
