وقّعت الهيئة الوطنية للأمن السيبراني مذكرة تفاهم مع وزارة تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية للتعاون في مجال الأمن السيبراني. ومثّل الجانبين خلال توقيع المذكرة محافظ الهيئة الوطنية للأمن السيبراني المهندس ماجد بن محمد المزيد، ووزيرة الدولة لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية السيدة شذى فاطمة خواجة.
وتهدف المذكرة الموقعة إلى تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مجال الأمن السيبراني من أجل حماية الفضاء السيبراني والمصالح الحيوية بين البلدين، وقد تضمّنت المذكرة مجالات عدة؛ من أبرزها تبادل الخبرات وأفضل الممارسات في مجال الأمن السيبراني لمواجهة التحديات والتهديدات السيبرانية.
وتأتي المذكرة في إطار جهود الهيئة الوطنية للأمن السيبراني الرامية إلى تعزيز موقع المملكة الرائد دولياً في قطاع الأمن السيبراني، عبر توطيد التعاون والتكامل مع الجهات المماثلة خارج المملكة لتبادل الخبرات، وتأسيس آليات للتعاون وصناعة الشراكات الدولية في مجالات الأمن السيبراني.
The National Cybersecurity Authority signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to cooperate in the field of cybersecurity. The signing was represented by the Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority, Engineer Majid bin Mohammed Al-Mazid, and the Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ms. Shahda Fatima Khawaja.
The signed memorandum aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of cybersecurity to protect the cyberspace and vital interests between the two countries. It includes several areas, most notably the exchange of experiences and best practices in cybersecurity to address challenges and cyber threats.
The memorandum comes as part of the efforts of the National Cybersecurity Authority to strengthen the Kingdom's leading international position in the cybersecurity sector by solidifying cooperation and integration with similar entities outside the Kingdom to exchange experiences and establish mechanisms for cooperation and international partnerships in the fields of cybersecurity.
