بحث وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان، مع قائد قوات الدفاع قائد الجيش الباكستاني المشير عاصم منير، أمس، في مدينة إسطنبول بجمهورية تركيا، آفاق التعاون العسكري والدفاعي بين البلدين الشقيقين، وتطورات الأوضاع الإقليمية والجهود المبذولة تجاهها، وذلك على هامش الاجتماع الأول للجنة الإستراتيجية السياسية الدفاعية لاتفاقية مكة للدفاع المشترك.
حضر اللقاء وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، ورئيس هيئة الأركان العامة الفريق الأول الركن فياض بن حامد الرويلي، ومستشار وزير الدفاع لشؤون الاستخبارات هشام عبدالعزيز سيف، فيما حضره من الجانب الباكستاني عدد من المسؤولين.
Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman discussed with the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, General Asim Munir, yesterday in Istanbul, Turkey, the prospects for military and defense cooperation between the two brotherly countries, as well as the developments in the regional situation and the efforts being made in this regard. This was on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Political Defense Strategic Committee for the Makkah Agreement on Joint Defense.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Chief of General Staff General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, and the Minister of Defense's advisor for intelligence affairs, Hisham Abdulaziz Saif, along with several officials from the Pakistani side.
