أنجزت أمانة منطقة عسير تنفيذ 3 كيلومترات من مشروع مسار الدراجات بطريق الأمير منصور بن مقرن بمدينة أبها ضمن مشروع يمتد بطول 8 كيلومترات، وذلك في إطار جهودها الرامية إلى تعزيز أنسنة الطرق والمواقع الحيوية وتهيئة بيئة حضرية داعمة لممارسة الأنشطة الرياضية بما يسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة.
ويأتي تنفيذ المشروع ضمن أعمال الأمانة لتطوير الطرق الحيوية والارتقاء بمكوناتها من خلال إضافة مسارات مخصصة للدراجات بما يواكب حاجات السكان والزوار ويعزز تنوع خيارات التنقل الرياضي والترفيهي ويرفع مستوى حضور المسارات الرياضية ضمن المشهد الحضري بمدينة أبها.
وراعت الأمانة في تنفيذ المسار استخدام طبقات وتجهيزات تتناسب مع طبيعة حركة الدراجات، إلى جانب تطبيق متطلبات ووسائل السلامة اللازمة على امتداد المسار بما يوفر بيئة آمنة وملائمة لمستخدميه، ويعزز جودة تجربتهم. ويعكس المشروع توجه الأمانة نحو استثمار مكونات الطرق والفراغات المحيطة بها في صناعة أماكن حضرية أكثر حيوية، وتوفير خيارات متنوعة لممارسة الأنشطة الرياضية بما يدعم مستهدفات تحسين جودة الحياة ويواكب تطلعات المنطقة نحو بيئة حضرية أكثر ملاءمة للسكان والزوار.
The Asir Region Municipality has completed 3 kilometers of the bicycle path project on Prince Mansour bin Muqrin Road in Abha, as part of a project that extends over 8 kilometers. This is in line with its efforts to enhance the humanization of roads and vital locations and to create an urban environment that supports the practice of sports activities, contributing to improving the quality of life.
The implementation of the project is part of the municipality's work to develop vital roads and elevate their components by adding dedicated bicycle paths that meet the needs of residents and visitors, enhance the diversity of options for sports and recreational mobility, and increase the presence of sports paths within the urban landscape of Abha.
The municipality has taken into account the use of layers and equipment that are suitable for the nature of bicycle movement in the implementation of the path, in addition to applying the necessary safety requirements and measures along the path to provide a safe and suitable environment for its users, enhancing the quality of their experience. The project reflects the municipality's direction towards investing in the components of roads and the surrounding spaces to create more vibrant urban places and provide diverse options for practicing sports activities, supporting the goals of improving quality of life and aligning with the region's aspirations for a more suitable urban environment for residents and visitors.
