تزامناً مع انطلاقة العام الدراسي، شدّدت هيئة النقل على أهمية التعامل مع الناقلين النظاميين والمرخصين في نشاط النقل التعليمي، وأكدت أن سلامة الطلاب والطالبات تمثل أولوية في تنظيم النشاط، وأن تكامل الأدوار بين الهيئة ووزارة التعليم وأولياء الأمور ومقدمي الخدمة يسهم في توفير رحلة آمنة وموثوقة للطلاب والطالبات من وإلى المنشآت التعليمية.
وأكدت أن تنظيم نشاط النقل التعليمي يأتي ضمن جهودها الرامية إلى رفع مستوى السلامة وجودة الخدمات المقدمة للمستفيدين، وتعزيز موثوقية عمليات النقل، من خلال تطبيق المتطلبات المنظمة لممارسة النشاط، والتحقق من امتثال الناقلين والمركبات والسائقين للاشتراطات المعتمدة.
ودعت هيئة النقل أولياء الأمور إلى الاستفادة من خدمات النقل التعليمي النظامية والمرخصة والمتاحة للمستفيدين عبر وسائل وخيارات متعددة وتجنّب التعامل مع الناقلين غير النظاميين لما قد تشكّله ممارساتهم من مخاطر على سلامة الطلاب والطالبات وعدم التزامهم بالاشتراطات ومعايير السلامة.
وأشارت إلى أن الحافلات النظامية تتميّز بعدد من العلامات التي تمكّن المستفيدين من التعرّف عليها، من بينها اللوحة الصفراء، وذراع التوقف STOP على جانبي الحافلة، ورقم التواصل لخدمة العملاء، وملصق يحمل عبارة «حافلة تعليمية»، إضافة إلى رقمي الترخيص وبطاقة التشغيل ورقم الحافلة الخاص بالمنشأة المقدمة للخدمة في واجهة الحافلة وخلفها.
وأكدت الهيئة أعمالها الرقابية على نشاط النقل التعليمي بالتزامن مع انطلاق العام الدراسي للتحقق من الالتزام بالأنظمة واللوائح والاشتراطات المنظمة للنشاط، ورصد الممارسات المخالفة، واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية حيالها، بما يسهم في رفع مستوى الامتثال وتعزيز سلامة المستفيدين وجودة وكفاءة خدمات النقل التعليمي.
ودعت «هيئة النقل» الجميع إلى الإبلاغ عن أي ملاحظات وشكاوى تخص قطاع النقل.
Coinciding with the start of the academic year, the Transport Authority emphasized the importance of dealing with licensed and regulated transport providers in educational transport activities. It confirmed that the safety of students represents a priority in organizing the activity, and that the integration of roles between the Authority, the Ministry of Education, parents, and service providers contributes to providing a safe and reliable journey for students to and from educational institutions.
The Authority stated that organizing educational transport activities is part of its efforts to enhance safety and the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, and to improve the reliability of transport operations by applying the regulatory requirements for conducting the activity, and verifying the compliance of transporters, vehicles, and drivers with the approved conditions.
The Transport Authority urged parents to take advantage of the licensed and regulated educational transport services available to beneficiaries through various means and options, and to avoid dealing with unregulated transporters due to the potential risks their practices pose to the safety of students and their non-compliance with safety requirements and standards.
It noted that regulated buses are distinguished by several signs that enable beneficiaries to recognize them, including the yellow sign, the STOP arm on both sides of the bus, the customer service contact number, and a sticker bearing the phrase "Educational Bus," in addition to the license numbers and operating card, as well as the bus number specific to the service provider displayed on the front and back of the bus.
The Authority confirmed its supervisory activities on educational transport coinciding with the start of the academic year to ensure compliance with the regulations, rules, and conditions governing the activity, monitor violations, and take legal action regarding them, which contributes to raising the level of compliance and enhancing the safety of beneficiaries and the quality and efficiency of educational transport services.
The "Transport Authority" called on everyone to report any observations and complaints related to the transport sector.
