وقف محافظ جدة الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي، أمس (الإثنين)، على جاهزية مدارس الإدارة العامة للتعليم بمحافظة جدة، استعداداً لانطلاقة العام الدراسي الجديد خلال جولة ميدانية بحضور المدير العام للتعليم بمحافظة جدة منال مبارك اللهيبي، وعدد من قيادات التعليم.
وتجوّل في إحدى مدارس المحافظة المصممة وفق الطراز الحديث، واطّلع على جاهزية الفصول الدراسية والمرافق التعليمية والمساندة، وأعمال الصيانة والتأهيل، والتجهيزات التعليمية والتقنية، إلى جانب متطلبات الأمن والسلامة والخدمات التشغيلية، والتهيئة المتكاملة للبيئة المدرسية لاستقبال الطلبة ومنسوبي التعليم.
وشاهد المحافظ عرضاً مرئياً استعرض أبرز الأعمال المنفذة ضمن خطة الاستعداد للعام الدراسي الجديد، والجهود المبذولة لتهيئة المدارس ورفع مستوى الجاهزية التعليمية والتشغيلية، والخطط والإجراءات المتخذة لضمان انتظام العملية التعليمية منذ اليوم الأول.
واطّلع على تقرير عن استعدادات تعليم جدة للعام الدراسي الجديد، تضمن إحصاءات ومؤشرات عن منظومة التعليم بالمحافظة التي تضم 2,862 مدرسة حكومية وأهلية وعالمية وأجنبية، تستقبل نحو 700 ألف طالب وطالبة، إلى جانب 27 مدرسة من الطراز الحديث نُفذت بالشراكة مع القطاع الخاص، و5 مشاريع للطفولة المبكرة، و8 مدارس ضمن نموذج «أصيل»، فضلاً عن 30 مدرسة تحت الإنشاء داخل وجهات الإسكان، في إطار التوسع في المنشآت التعليمية وتطوير بيئاتها بما يواكب النمو السكاني وحاجات الأحياء والمجتمعات السكنية الجديدة.
The Governor of Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, yesterday (Monday), reviewed the readiness of schools under the General Administration of Education in Jeddah, in preparation for the start of the new academic year during a field tour attended by the Director General of Education in Jeddah, Manal Mubarak Al-Luhaybi, and several education leaders.
He toured one of the modern-style schools in the province, inspecting the readiness of classrooms, educational and support facilities, maintenance and rehabilitation works, educational and technical preparations, as well as security and safety requirements, operational services, and the comprehensive preparation of the school environment to welcome students and education staff.
The governor watched a visual presentation showcasing the key works implemented as part of the readiness plan for the new academic year, the efforts made to prepare schools and enhance educational and operational readiness, and the plans and measures taken to ensure the continuity of the educational process from the first day.
He also reviewed a report on Jeddah's educational preparations for the new academic year, which included statistics and indicators about the education system in the province, comprising 2,862 public, private, international, and foreign schools, accommodating nearly 700,000 male and female students, in addition to 27 modern-style schools executed in partnership with the private sector, 5 early childhood projects, and 8 schools under the "Aseel" model, as well as 30 schools under construction within housing developments, as part of the expansion of educational facilities and the development of their environments to keep pace with population growth and the needs of new neighborhoods and residential communities.
