يكرّم مهرجان «VS-FILM» للأفلام القصيرة جداً الفنانة المصرية وفاء عامر، خلال حفل افتتاح دورته الثالثة، المقرر إقامته في 28 أكتوبر الجاري بجامعة السويس، تقديراً لمسيرتها الفنية التي تضم عشرات الأفلام والمسلسلات والعروض المسرحية والإذاعية.
ويأتي تكريم وفاء عامر تقديراً لتجربتها الفنية المتنوعة، التي قدمت خلالها نحو 50 فيلماً، وأكثر من 70 مسلسلاً، و20 عرضاً مسرحياً، إلى جانب أعمال إذاعية، ومن أبرز أفلامها «كف القمر»، و«حين ميسرة»، و«رحلة مشبوهة»، و«التحويلة»، و«كشف المستور»، و«الليلة الكبيرة»، و«كارما».
وأعربت وفاء عامر عن تقديرها للمهرجان واعتزازها بالتكريم إلى جانب قامات فنية عربية، مؤكدة أن هذا التكريم يحتل مكانة خاصة لديها، لكونه يأتي من مهرجان متخصص في الأفلام القصيرة جداً. كما أشارت إلى اعتزازها بالتجارب السينمائية التي خاضتها، وتعاونها مع مخرجين ينتمون إلى مدارس فنية مختلفة.
من جانبه، أكد رئيس المهرجان الدكتور أسامة أبو نار أن تكريم وفاء عامر يأتي تقديراً لتجربتها السينمائية الحافلة بالأعمال المتميزة، موضحاً أن المهرجان يحرص على الاحتفاء بالفنانين أصحاب التجارب الفنية الثرية.
وأشار إلى أن برنامج الدورة يتضمن ندوة تكريمية للفنانة المصرية، تتحدث خلالها عن أبرز أعمالها السينمائية والمحطات المهمة في مشوارها الفني.
بدوره، أوضح المدير التنفيذي للمهرجان زياد باسمير أن برنامج التكريمات يضم أسماء فنية عربية قدمت أعمالاً بارزة للشاشة الكبيرة، لافتاً إلى أن وفاء عامر شاركت في أفلام طويلة وقصيرة جسّدت خلالها شخصيات إنسانية، وحصدت عن أعمالها جوائز من المهرجان القومي للسينما المصرية ومهرجان الإسكندرية لأفلام دول البحر المتوسط ومهرجان القاهرة السينمائي.
The "VS-FILM" festival for very short films honors the Egyptian artist Wafaa Amer during the opening ceremony of its third edition, scheduled to take place on October 28 at Suez University, in recognition of her artistic career, which includes dozens of films, series, theatrical performances, and radio shows.
The honoring of Wafaa Amer comes in appreciation of her diverse artistic experience, during which she has presented nearly 50 films, more than 70 series, and 20 theatrical performances, in addition to radio works. Some of her most notable films include "Kaf Al-Qamar," "Hein Misra," "Suspicious Journey," "The Detour," "Revealing the Hidden," "The Big Night," and "Karma."
Wafaa Amer expressed her appreciation for the festival and her pride in being honored alongside prominent Arab artistic figures, emphasizing that this recognition holds a special place for her, as it comes from a festival specialized in very short films. She also highlighted her pride in the cinematic experiences she has undergone and her collaboration with directors from different artistic schools.
For his part, the festival's president, Dr. Osama Abu Nar, confirmed that honoring Wafaa Amer is in recognition of her cinematic experience filled with distinguished works, explaining that the festival is keen to celebrate artists with rich artistic experiences.
He pointed out that the program of the edition includes a tribute seminar for the Egyptian artist, during which she will discuss her most prominent cinematic works and important milestones in her artistic journey.
For his part, the festival's executive director, Ziad Basmeir, clarified that the honors program includes Arab artistic names that have presented notable works for the big screen, noting that Wafaa Amer has participated in both feature and short films, portraying human characters, and has received awards for her works from the National Festival for Egyptian Cinema, the Alexandria Mediterranean Countries Film Festival, and the Cairo International Film Festival.
