تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ونيابة عنه، يُكرّم نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، الفائزين بمسابقة الملك عبدالعزيز الدولية لحفظ القرآن الكريم وتلاوته وتفسيره في دورتها السادسة والأربعين، اليوم (الأربعاء)، في رحاب المسجد الحرام، خلال الحفل الختامي الذي تنظمه وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد بحضور عدد من الأمراء والوزراء والسفراء ورؤساء البعثات المشاركة والمسؤولين في الأجهزة الحكومية.
كما تُكرّم حرم خادم الحرمين الشريفين الأميرة فهدة بنت فلاح آل حثلين، الفائزات في قسم الإناث بالمسابقة، في احتفاء يجسد ما توليه قيادة المملكة من عناية بالقرآن الكريم وأهله، ويواكب التوسع الذي تشهده المسابقة في دورتها الحالية باستحداث قسم الإناث لأول مرة في تاريخها.
ويأتي حفل التكريم تتويجًا للفائزين والفائزات في ختام التصفيات النهائية للمسابقة، التي استمرت عدة أيام في رحاب المسجد الحرام، وشهدت تنافس (334) متسابقًا ومتسابقة، من (133) دولة، بمشاركة لجان تحكيم محلية ودولية متخصصة.
ويتضمن تكريم الفائزين والفائزات في فروع المسابقة الخمسة، وهي: الفرع الأول: حفظ القرآن الكريم كاملًا مع التلاوة والتجويد والقراءات، والفرع الثاني: حفظ القرآن الكريم كاملًا مع التلاوة والتجويد والتفسير، والفرع الثالث: حفظ عشرين جزءًا متتالية مع التلاوة والتجويد، والفرع الرابع: حفظ خمسة عشر جزءًا متتالية مع التلاوة والتجويد، والفرع الخامس: حفظ خمسة أجزاء متتالية مع التلاوة والتجويد، إلى جانب تكريم أعضاء لجان التحكيم.
وشهدت الدورة الحالية للمسابقة زيادة عدد الفائزين إلى (50) فائزًا وفائزة، بواقع خمسة فائزين وخمس فائزات في كل فرع، فيما بلغت قيمة الجوائز المالية الإجمالية (10,260,000) ريال، في تأكيدٍ على مكانة المسابقة وريادتها العالمية في خدمة القرآن الكريم وأهله.
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and on his behalf, the Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, will honor the winners of the King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran in its forty-sixth session today (Wednesday) at the Grand Mosque, during the closing ceremony organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, in the presence of several princes, ministers, ambassadors, heads of participating missions, and officials from government agencies.
Additionally, the wife of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathlin, will honor the female winners in the competition, in a celebration that embodies the attention the leadership of the Kingdom gives to the Holy Quran and its people, and coincides with the expansion witnessed by the competition in its current session with the introduction of a female section for the first time in its history.
The honoring ceremony comes as a culmination for the male and female winners at the conclusion of the final qualifiers for the competition, which lasted several days at the Grand Mosque, witnessing the participation of (334) male and female contestants from (133) countries, with the involvement of specialized local and international judging committees.
The honoring includes the winners in the five branches of the competition, which are: the first branch: memorization of the entire Holy Quran with recitation, Tajweed, and readings; the second branch: memorization of the entire Holy Quran with recitation, Tajweed, and interpretation; the third branch: memorization of twenty consecutive Juz' with recitation and Tajweed; the fourth branch: memorization of fifteen consecutive Juz' with recitation and Tajweed; and the fifth branch: memorization of five consecutive Juz' with recitation and Tajweed, in addition to honoring the members of the judging committees.
The current session of the competition saw an increase in the number of winners to (50) male and female winners, with five winners and five winners in each branch, while the total value of the cash prizes reached (10,260,000) Riyals, affirming the competition's status and its global leadership in serving the Holy Quran and its people.
