The Emir of Najran Region, Chairman of the Region Council, Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, emphasized the important role of council members in serving the region and its residents by identifying developmental and service needs, participating in setting priorities, studying projects and services, monitoring their implementation, and providing proposals that contribute to supporting the development process and enhancing the level of services.
This came during his meeting with the newly appointed members of the Najran Region Council, who came to greet him and listen to his directives on the occasion of their appointment.
The Emir of Najran congratulated the council members on the issuance of the royal decree appointing them, wishing them success and prosperity in fulfilling their duties and contributing to enhancing the development process and serving the residents of the region, in a manner that meets the aspirations of the wise leadership - may God support it. The Emir of Najran Region stressed the importance of communication with the residents and listening to their needs and suggestions, accurately and objectively conveying them to the region council, and focusing on priorities that have developmental impacts and serve the public interest, including the city of Najran and the governorates and centers of the region, emphasizing the importance of utilizing the members' expertise and specializations to enhance the quality of the council's work and its outcomes.
The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Region Council, Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Muraih.
