وضع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية حجر الأساس لمشروع بناء وإعادة تأهيل (13) مدرسة في محافظتي لحج والضالع بالجمهورية اليمنية، بحضور وزير التربية والتعليم بالجمهورية اليمنية الدكتور عادل عبدالمجيد العبادي، ومحافظ لحج مراد علي الحالمي، ضمن برنامج دعم استمرارية التعليم في اليمن.
ويتضمن المشروع إنشاء (45) فصلاً دراسياً جديداً، وإعادة تأهيل (4) مدارس، وتحسين مرافق المياه والإصحاح البيئي، وتأثيث الفصول الدراسية، وتركيب منظومات للطاقة الشمسية في عدد من المدارس؛ بهدف الارتقاء بالبيئة التعليمية في المدارس المستهدفة، وتوفير بيئة مدرسية آمنة ومحفزة، وتحسين فرص حصول الأطفال على تعليم جيد، وتخفيف الكثافة الطلابية، بما يسهم في خدمة (59,851) فرداً.
وأكد وزير التربية والتعليم اليمني الأهمية الإستراتيجية التي تكتسبها هذه المشاريع في الوقت الراهن، مشدداً على دورها الفاعل في تعزيز البنية التحتية للقطاع التعليمي والارتقاء بجودة مخرجاته.
وثمّن عالياً الدعم غير المحدود الذي تقدمه المملكة من خلال مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة، مشيداً بالدور التكاملي للسلطة المحلية والمركز في إنجاح مسار المشاريع التنموية التي تلبي تطلعات الفئات المتضررة في بلاده واحتياجاتها.
ويأتي هذا المشروع امتداداً لجهود المملكة التي تبذلها عبر ذراعها الإنسانية مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة، لدعم المنظومة التعليمية والتربوية في اليمن، وتزويد المدارس والمؤسسات التعليمية باحتياجاتها الأساسية.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center laid the foundation stone for the project to build and rehabilitate (13) schools in the Lahij and Al-Dhale'e governorates of the Republic of Yemen, in the presence of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Yemen, Dr. Adel Abdul-Majeed Al-Abbadi, and the Governor of Lahij, Murad Ali Al-Halimi, as part of the program to support the continuity of education in Yemen.
The project includes the construction of (45) new classrooms, the rehabilitation of (4) schools, the improvement of water and environmental sanitation facilities, the furnishing of classrooms, and the installation of solar energy systems in a number of schools; with the aim of enhancing the educational environment in the targeted schools, providing a safe and motivating school environment, improving children's access to quality education, and reducing student density, which will serve (59,851) individuals.
The Yemeni Minister of Education emphasized the strategic importance of these projects at the present time, stressing their effective role in strengthening the infrastructure of the educational sector and improving the quality of its outputs.
He highly appreciated the unlimited support provided by the Kingdom through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, praising the complementary role of the local authority and the center in successfully implementing developmental projects that meet the aspirations and needs of the affected groups in his country.
This project comes as an extension of the efforts of the Kingdom, which it exerts through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support the educational system in Yemen and to provide schools and educational institutions with their essential needs.
