تحت رعاية خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، تنطلق أعمال الدورة الثانية عشرة لمنتدى الرياض الاقتصادي خلال الفترة من 12 إلى 14 أكتوبر 2026 في مركز الرياض الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض، بمشاركة عدد من المسؤولين والمختصين في القطاعين العام والخاص، والأكاديميين، ورجال وسيدات الأعمال، والمهتمين بالشأن الاقتصادي.
ورفع رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة الرياض المهندس عبدالله بن عبدالرحمن العبيكان، الشكر للقيادة الرشيدة على ما يحظى به المنتدى من رعاية كريمة تمثل امتداداً لدعم المنتدى منذ انطلاقه، وتعكس الاهتمام الكبير بتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص في التنمية الاقتصادية.
ونوّه العبيكان بدعم أمير منطقة الرياض الأمير فيصل بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، الرئيس الفخري لمنتدى الرياض الاقتصادي، مشيراً إلى أن المنتدى نجح خلال مسيرته في تقديم أكثر من 57 دراسة اقتصادية معمقة، خرجت بتوصيات نوعية، تحوّل العديد منها إلى مبادرات وقرارات حكومية ملموسة؛ مما يعكس عمق الأثر الذي يحققه المنتدى على مستوى السياسات الاقتصادية.
وأوضح أن المنتدى يعتمد منهجية علمية راسخة في إعداد دراساته، تبدأ برصد القضايا والتحديات ذات الأولوية للاقتصاد الوطني، ثم تشكيل فرق عمل متخصصة تضم نخبة من الخبراء والأكاديميين وممثلي القطاعين العام والخاص، وإجراء دراسات ميدانية وتحليلات علمية تستند إلى البيانات والمؤشرات وأفضل الممارسات الدولية، قبل أن تُناقش مخرجاتها في جلسات المنتدى لإثرائها وصياغة توصيات عملية قابلة للتنفيذ؛ بما يعزز إسهام المنتدى في دعم صناع القرار، ورفع كفاءة السياسات الاقتصادية، وتحقيق مستهدفات التنمية المستدامة.
وأكّد أن غرفة الرياض تفخر بتأسيس هذا المنتدى الذي يجسد دورها بوصفها ممثلاً وممكناً للقطاع الخاص، مبيناً أن هذا الدور اكتسب أهمية متزايدة في ظل رؤية السعودية 2030، التي تستهدف رفع مساهمة القطاع الخاص في الناتج المحلي، وهو ما تعمل الغرفة على دعمه من خلال تحولات مؤسسية وإستراتيجية تعزز فاعليتها في خدمة قطاع الأعمال.
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the twelfth session of the Riyadh Economic Forum will take place from October 12 to 14, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the participation of a number of officials and specialists from the public and private sectors, academics, business men and women, and those interested in economic affairs.
The Chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Obeikan, expressed his gratitude to the wise leadership for the generous support the forum receives, which represents a continuation of the support since its inception and reflects the great interest in enhancing the role of the private sector in economic development.
Al Obeikan noted the support of the Prince of Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the honorary president of the Riyadh Economic Forum, pointing out that the forum has succeeded throughout its journey in presenting more than 57 in-depth economic studies, many of which have resulted in qualitative recommendations that have transformed into tangible government initiatives and decisions; reflecting the profound impact the forum has on economic policies.
He explained that the forum relies on a solid scientific methodology in preparing its studies, starting with identifying priority issues and challenges for the national economy, then forming specialized working teams that include a select group of experts, academics, and representatives from both the public and private sectors, conducting field studies and scientific analyses based on data, indicators, and best international practices, before discussing their outputs in forum sessions to enrich them and formulate practical, actionable recommendations; thereby enhancing the forum's contribution to supporting decision-makers, improving the efficiency of economic policies, and achieving sustainable development goals.
He emphasized that the Riyadh Chamber is proud to have established this forum, which embodies its role as a representative and enabler of the private sector, indicating that this role has gained increasing importance in light of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to raise the private sector's contribution to the GDP, a goal that the chamber is working to support through institutional and strategic transformations that enhance its effectiveness in serving the business sector.
