بحث نائب وزير البيئة والمياه والزراعة المهندس منصور المشيطي، في مقر الوزارة، مع أعضاء اللجنة الوطنية لمنتجي الدواجن، سبل تطوير القطاع، ورفع كفاءة الإنتاج المحلي؛ بما يسهم في دعم منظومة الأمن الغذائي في المملكة.
وناقش اللقاء عدداً من الموضوعات في مقدمتها زيادة الإنتاج المحلي من الدواجن ومنتجاتها، وضمان وفرة إمدادها واستقرارها في الأسواق المحلية، إلى جانب رفع الكفاءة الإنتاجية وتكامل الجهود بين الوزارة والقطاع الخاص لتعزيز مستويات الاكتفاء الذاتي، بما يتوافق مع المستهدفات الوطنية والرؤية المستقبلية للقطاع.
وتأتي الخطوة امتداداً للجهود والمنجزات التي حققتها وزارة البيئة في قطاع الدواجن، إذ قفزت نسبة الاكتفاء الذاتي من لحوم الدواجن لتتجاوز 76%، إضافة إلى تحقيق كفاءة عالية في إنتاج بيض المائدة، كما تتوج هذه الجهود بمشاريع إستراتيجية نوعية لتوطين التقنيات والقدرات الإنتاجية.
وتواصل الوزارة تمكين الاستثمارات والشراكات مع القطاع الخاص؛ لرفع كفاءة سلاسل الإمداد، وتطبيق أعلى معايير السلامة والأمن الحيوي، تحقيقاً لمستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في بناء قطاع زراعي وغذائي مستدام وتنافسي.
The Deputy Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour Al-Mushaiti, discussed at the ministry's headquarters with members of the National Committee for Poultry Producers ways to develop the sector and enhance the efficiency of local production; contributing to supporting the food security system in the Kingdom.
The meeting addressed several topics, foremost among them increasing local production of poultry and its products, ensuring their availability and stability in local markets, as well as enhancing production efficiency and integrating efforts between the ministry and the private sector to boost self-sufficiency levels, in line with national targets and the future vision for the sector.
This step is an extension of the efforts and achievements made by the Ministry of Environment in the poultry sector, as the self-sufficiency rate for poultry meat has jumped to over 76%, in addition to achieving high efficiency in table egg production. These efforts are crowned with strategic qualitative projects to localize technologies and production capabilities.
The ministry continues to empower investments and partnerships with the private sector; to enhance the efficiency of supply chains and apply the highest standards of safety and biosecurity, in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in building a sustainable and competitive agricultural and food sector.
