مددت وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة مهلة الحصول على رخص استخدام مياه الآبار لمدة عام، لتنتهي في 5 صفر 1449هـ الموافق 9 يوليو 2027.
ويستهدف القرار تسهيل إجراءات إصدار رخص استخدام مياه الآبار وتنظيم استخدامات المياه الجوفية، والإسهام في تحقيق الاستدامة المائية وضمان استمرارية أنشطة المستفيدين بما يعزز كفاءة إدارة الموارد المائية واستدامتها،
وتشمل الفئات المستفيدة من قرار التمديد: الأفراد، والجهات الحكومية، وقطاع الأعمال، والقطاع غير الربحي، مع دعوة الوزارة لجميع المشمولين إلى استكمال إجراءات الحصول على الرخص خلال الفترة المحددة.وأكدت الوزارة أن قرار التمديد لا يشمل رخص استخدام الشركات الزراعية المحلية وكبار مزارعي القمح، ولا رخص أنشطة أشياب المياه ومصانع المياه المعبأة، التي تخضع لضوابطها التنظيمية الخاصة.
The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has extended the deadline for obtaining licenses for the use of well water for one year, ending on 5 Safar 1449 AH, corresponding to July 9, 2027.
The decision aims to facilitate the procedures for issuing licenses for the use of well water, regulate the use of groundwater, and contribute to achieving water sustainability while ensuring the continuity of beneficiaries' activities, which enhances the efficiency and sustainability of water resource management.
The categories benefiting from the extension decision include individuals, government entities, the business sector, and the non-profit sector, with the ministry inviting all those involved to complete the procedures for obtaining licenses within the specified period. The ministry confirmed that the extension decision does not include licenses for the use of local agricultural companies and major wheat farmers, nor licenses for water distribution activities and bottled water factories, which are subject to their specific regulatory controls.
