توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الأحد)، استمرار تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق الشرقية والرياض ونجران، وكذلك على أجزاء من منطقتي مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة تصل إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على طريق الساحل الواصل إلى جازان.
كما لا تزال الفرصة مهيأة لهطول أمطار رعدية مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على أجزاء من منطقتي جازان وعسير تمتد إلى أجزاء من منطقة الباحة، في حين تظل درجات الحرارة العظمى مرتفعة على أجزاء من المنطقة الشرقية، ولا يستبعد تكون الضباب خلال ساعات الصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الساحلية الجنوبية منها.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر تكون جنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة 10 - 28 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي وشمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 25 - 50 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر على الجزء الشمالي ومن متر إلى مترين ونصف على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج على الجزء الشمالي ومتوسط الموج إلى مائج على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي.
وفي الخليج العربي تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 12 - 38 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 10 - 30 كم/ساعة على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report today (Sunday) that the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue over parts of the Eastern, Riyadh, and Najran regions, as well as over parts of the Makkah and Madinah regions, reaching near-zero visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan.
There is still a chance for thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds over parts of the Jazan and Asir regions, extending to parts of the Al-Baha region, while high temperatures remain in parts of the Eastern region, and fog formation is not ruled out during the early morning hours over its southern coastal areas.
The report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea are southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 10 - 28 km/h in the northern part and northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 25 - 50 km/h in the central and southern parts, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter in the northern part and from one meter to two and a half meters in the central and southern parts. The sea condition is light in the northern part and moderate to rough in the central and southern parts.
In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds are northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of 12 - 38 km/h in the northern part and southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 10 - 30 km/h in the central and southern parts, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea condition is light to moderate.
