أوصى مفكرون وأكاديميون وباحثون سعوديون بإعداد ميثاق سعودي للقيم الثقافية في السياحة يتضمن 13 بندًا تشكّل إطارًا وطنيًا استرشاديًا يعزز الممارسات السياحية المسؤولة ويرسخ القيم الثقافية للمملكة.
وتشمل هذه البنود: احترام الهوية الوطنية، وصون ثقافة المجتمع السعودي وعاداته وتقاليده، وتعزيز قيم التعارف والتسامح والحوار الحضاري، واحترام التنوع الثقافي، وحماية التراث الثقافي والطبيعي، وتحقيق التنمية السياحية المستدامة، وتمكين المجتمعات المحلية، وترسيخ المسؤولية المهنية والشفافية، وحماية حقوق السائح، وإتاحة السياحة لجميع فئات المجتمع، ودعم التعاون الوطني والدولي في مجالات الثقافة والسياحة، وتعزيز الممارسات السياحية المسؤولة بما يرسخ القيم الثقافية للمملكة.
تعزيز التكامل
وجاءت التوصية في ختام الندوة الثقافية «الثقافة والسياحة.. القيم المشتركة» التي نظمتها مؤسسة أدب الثقافية بالتعاون مع مركز عبدالله بن إدريس الثقافي، أمس، في الطائف، بمشاركة نخبة من المفكرين والأكاديميين والباحثين السعوديين، وحضور عدد من المثقفين والإعلاميين والمهتمين بالشأنين الثقافي والسياحي.
ودعت الندوة إلى تعزيز التكامل بين القطاعين الثقافي والسياحي، ودعم الدراسات والبحوث المتخصصة، إلى جانب إعداد الميثاق الأخلاقي بوصفه مرجعًا وطنيًا يسهم في ترسيخ الهوية الثقافية وتعزيز السياحة المسؤولة.
مبادئ مقترحة
وأوضح المشاركون أن المبادئ الـ13 المقترحة تمثل أساسًا لبناء منظومة قيمية تدعم تطوير التجربة السياحية في المملكة، وتنسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية 2030، عبر حماية التراث، وتمكين المجتمعات، وترسيخ الشفافية، وضمان حقوق السائح، وتوسيع فرص المشاركة المجتمعية في السياحة.
وتضمّن البرنامج ثلاث جلسات علمية ناقشت أثر الثقافة في بناء الوجهات السياحية، ودور التراث المادي وغير المادي في تعزيز الجذب السياحي، وإسهام الصناعات الثقافية في التنمية الاقتصادية، إضافة إلى استعراض تجارب وطنية في الاستثمار الثقافي والسياحي.
وأكد المشاركون أهمية توظيف المقومات الثقافية والتراثية للمملكة لدعم القطاع السياحي، وتعزيز الشراكات بين المؤسسات الثقافية والجهات المعنية بالسياحة، بما يسهم في ترسيخ مكانة المملكة وجهةً ثقافيةً وسياحيةً رائدة، مشددين على ضرورة تحويل توصيات الندوة إلى مبادرات عملية تدعم التنمية المستدامة وتعزز الهوية الثقافية الوطنية.
Saudi thinkers, academics, and researchers have recommended the preparation of a Saudi charter for cultural values in tourism that includes 13 articles forming a national framework that enhances responsible tourism practices and reinforces the cultural values of the Kingdom.
These articles include: respecting national identity, preserving the culture of Saudi society and its customs and traditions, promoting values of acquaintance, tolerance, and civil dialogue, respecting cultural diversity, protecting cultural and natural heritage, achieving sustainable tourism development, empowering local communities, establishing professional responsibility and transparency, protecting tourist rights, making tourism accessible to all segments of society, supporting national and international cooperation in the fields of culture and tourism, and enhancing responsible tourism practices that reinforce the cultural values of the Kingdom.
Enhancing Integration
The recommendation came at the conclusion of the cultural seminar "Culture and Tourism... Common Values," organized by the Adab Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Abdullah bin Idris Cultural Center, yesterday in Taif, with the participation of a select group of Saudi thinkers, academics, and researchers, and the attendance of a number of intellectuals, media professionals, and those interested in cultural and tourism affairs.
The seminar called for enhancing integration between the cultural and tourism sectors, supporting specialized studies and research, in addition to preparing the ethical charter as a national reference that contributes to reinforcing cultural identity and promoting responsible tourism.
Proposed Principles
Participants clarified that the 13 proposed principles represent a foundation for building a value system that supports the development of the tourism experience in the Kingdom, aligning with the targets of Vision 2030, through protecting heritage, empowering communities, establishing transparency, ensuring tourist rights, and expanding opportunities for community participation in tourism.
The program included three scientific sessions that discussed the impact of culture on building tourism destinations, the role of tangible and intangible heritage in enhancing tourism attraction, and the contribution of cultural industries to economic development, in addition to reviewing national experiences in cultural and tourism investment.
Participants emphasized the importance of leveraging the cultural and heritage components of the Kingdom to support the tourism sector and enhance partnerships between cultural institutions and tourism stakeholders, contributing to establishing the Kingdom's position as a leading cultural and tourism destination, stressing the need to transform the seminar's recommendations into practical initiatives that support sustainable development and enhance national cultural identity.
