دانت رابطة العالم الإسلامي -باستنكار شديد- استهداف عدد من المراكز الحدودية الكويتية، ومنصة حفر بحرية تابعة لشركة نفط الكويت، والاعتداءات التي استهدفت القنصلية العامة لدولة الكويت في مدينة البصرة، واستهداف ناقلتي نفط إماراتيتين أثناء عبورهما مضيق هرمز، وكذلك استمرار إيران في تهديد أمن المنطقة واستقرارها باستهداف المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ومملكة البحرين، ودولة قطر، في انتهاك لمبادئ القانون الدولي، وميثاق الأمم المتحدة، وميثاق منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، وقواعد حسن الجوار.
وجدد الأمين العام رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد العيسى في بيان للرابطة، التنديد بالاعتداءات الإيرانية الإجرامية المتكررة، التي تنتهك كل القيم الدينية، والقوانين والأعراف الدولية والإنسانية، وتقوض جهود استعادة الأمن والاستقرار بالمنطقة.
وشدد العيسى على التضامن الكامل مع الدول الشقيقة في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات تحفظ أمنها وسيادتها وسلامة مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها.
The Muslim World League condemned -in the strongest terms- the targeting of several Kuwaiti border centers, an offshore drilling platform belonging to Kuwait Oil Company, the attacks that targeted the General Consulate of the State of Kuwait in the city of Basra, and the targeting of two Emirati oil tankers while they were crossing the Strait of Hormuz, as well as Iran's continued threats to the security and stability of the region by targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar, in violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the rules of good neighborliness.
The Secretary-General and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, reiterated in a statement from the League the condemnation of the repeated Iranian criminal attacks, which violate all religious values, international and humanitarian laws and norms, and undermine efforts to restore security and stability in the region.
Al-Issa emphasized full solidarity with the brotherly countries in all measures they take to preserve their security, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens and residents on their territories.
