أعربت وزارة الخارجية، عن إدانة المملكة العربية السعودية واستنكارها بأشد العبارات لاستمرار إيران في انتهاج سياسات من شأنها زعزعة أمن المنطقة واستقرارها، مؤكدة أن هذه الممارسات تمثل انتهاكاً لمبادئ القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة وميثاق منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، إلى جانب مخالفتها لقواعد حسن الجوار.
وأوضحت الوزارة في بيان لها، أن الاعتداءات الإيرانية المتكررة على السفن التجارية تشكّل تهديداً مباشراً لأمن وحرية الملاحة الدولية، كما أدانت استمرار الاعتداءات الإيرانية على كلٍّ من دولة الكويت، ومملكة البحرين، ودولة قطر، ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وسلطنة عُمان، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.
وجدّدت المملكة رفضها التام لأي انتهاك يمس سيادة الدول الشقيقة، مؤكدة أن استمرار هذه الممارسات الإيرانية يمثل تهديداً لأمن المنطقة واستقرارها، ويقوض الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز الأمن والسلم الإقليميين.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation and strong denunciation of Iran's continued pursuit of policies that undermine the security and stability of the region, affirming that these practices represent a violation of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in addition to contradicting the rules of good neighborliness.
The ministry clarified in a statement that the repeated Iranian attacks on commercial vessels pose a direct threat to the security and freedom of international navigation. It also condemned the ongoing Iranian assaults on the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The Kingdom reiterated its complete rejection of any violation that affects the sovereignty of brotherly states, emphasizing that the continuation of these Iranian practices represents a threat to the security and stability of the region and undermines efforts aimed at enhancing regional security and peace.
