خلف الأبواب المغلقة لمنزل هادئ في مقاطعة بيدفوردشير، عثرت الشرطة البريطانية على جثث الزوجة نوثابو زانديل تشوما (42 عاماً) وابنتيها ناتالي (15 عاماً) ونالا ذات السنوات الخمس، في جريمة مأساوية صدمت الرأي العام. المتهم بالحادثة، ندودانا مخانييسي تشوما (45 عاماً)، فرّ مباشرة عقب الجريمة، إلا أن التنسيق الاستخباراتي السريع بين الوكالة الوطنية لمكافحة الجريمة والإنتربول، بالتعاون مع سلطات زيمبابوي وجنوب أفريقيا، أوقع به في حي كينسينغتون بمدينة جوهانسبرغ.
ومع إعلان النيابة العامة البريطانية رسمياً توجيه ثلاث تهم بالقتل إلى تشوما، يمثل المتهم أمام المحكمة تمهيداً لنقله إلى المملكة المتحدة، بينما أكد المحققون أن الجهود الأمنية المشتركة لن تتوقف حتى تكتمل التحقيقات وتتحقق العدالة للضحايا الثلاث.
