نزهة عائلية بسيطة في شوارع إشبيلية تحولت فجأة إلى مغامرة فنية أشبه بالأفلام، بعدما قاد الفضول والأمانة مواطناً إسبانياً لاكتشاف لوحة فنية أصلية تُقدر بقيمة 150 ألف يورو كانت ملقاة على الرصيف كقطعة خردة مهملة.
فبينما كان الخمسيني أندريس هورتادو يقضي عطلته، لفت انتباهه إطار ذهبي أنيق للوحة تركها بعض الأطفال في الشارع، فقرر أخذها إلى فندقه إعجاباً بالإطار لا بمحتواها. وبدافع الفضول بعد عودته للمنزل، استعان بالذكاء الاصطناعي لتحليل اللوحة التي تُظهر قاربين على شاطئ، لتأتي المفاجأة الصادمة بأنها قد تعود للرسام الإسباني الشهير «خواكين سورولا». ولم يحسم الشك سوى دار مزادات متخصصة أكدت أصالة اللوحة وتوقيع الرسام عليها، ليتضح لاحقاً أن عائلة أخرى كانت قد نسيتها وسط زحام السفر وصخب ترتيب الحقائب في صندوق سيارتها، ليعثر عليها أطفال ويعيدوا طرحها في الشارع. وبمجرد أن لمح هورتادو ملصقات البحث التي وزعتها العائلة المكلومة، بادر فوراً بالتواصل مع السلطات لإعادة الأمانة الثمينة لأصحابها، مسدلاً الستار على رحلة لوحة تائهة بدأت بالإهمال وانتهت بتكريم أمانة عابرة للمدن.

While in his fifties, Andrés Hurtado was enjoying his vacation when he noticed an elegant golden frame of a painting left by some children in the street. He decided to take it to his hotel, admiring the frame rather than its content. Out of curiosity, after returning home, he used artificial intelligence to analyze the painting that depicted two boats on a beach, and the shocking surprise came when it turned out to possibly belong to the famous Spanish painter "Joaquín Sorolla." The doubt was only resolved by a specialized auction house that confirmed the painting's authenticity and the artist's signature on it. It later became clear that another family had forgotten it amidst the chaos of travel and the noise of packing their car's trunk, leading children to find it and put it back on the street. As soon as Hurtado spotted the missing person posters distributed by the grieving family, he immediately contacted the authorities to return the valuable item to its rightful owners, bringing an end to the journey of a lost painting that began with neglect and concluded with the honoring of a trust that transcended cities.
