أشادت الدول الأعضاء في الشبكة العالمية لمراكز التبادل والتعاون لبناء القدرات في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي بالتقدم الذي أحرزته الشبكة بوصفها منصة لتعزيز التعاون الدولي، وتبادل الخبرات، ودعم الإستراتيجيات الوطنية في الذكاء الاصطناعي. جاء ذلك في بيان مشترك خلال أعمال الحوار العالمي لحوكمة الذكاء الاصطناعي في جنيف.
وأكد الدكتور ماجد الشهري من مركز (ICAIRE)، أن مشاركة المركز في الحوار أسهمت في توسيع الشراكات الدولية وتبادل الخبرات، مع استعداد المركز لدعم برامج الشبكة وتعزيز بناء القدرات في الذكاء الاصطناعي. ويواصل المركز، بصفته مركزًا من الفئة الثانية تحت رعاية اليونسكو، دوره في تعزيز أخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي، وبناء القدرات، ودعم التعاون الدولي لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
وتُعد الشبكة ثمرة تعاون بين المركز الدولي لأبحاث وأخلاقيات الذكاء الاصطناعي (ICAIRE) برعاية اليونسكو في الرياض، والهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا)، وجمهورية كينيا، قبل أن تتوسع لتضم مراكز متخصصة من مختلف أنحاء العالم.
The member countries of the Global Network of Exchange and Cooperation Centers for Capacity Building in Artificial Intelligence praised the progress made by the network as a platform for enhancing international cooperation, exchanging experiences, and supporting national strategies in artificial intelligence. This was stated in a joint statement during the Global Dialogue on Artificial Intelligence Governance in Geneva.
Dr. Majid Al-Shahri from the (ICAIRE) Center confirmed that the center's participation in the dialogue contributed to expanding international partnerships and exchanging experiences, with the center ready to support the network's programs and enhance capacity building in artificial intelligence. The center continues, as a Category II center under the auspices of UNESCO, to play its role in promoting the ethics of artificial intelligence, building capacities, and supporting international cooperation to achieve sustainable development.
The network is the result of cooperation between the International Center for Research and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (ICAIRE) under the auspices of UNESCO in Riyadh, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), and the Republic of Kenya, before expanding to include specialized centers from around the world.
